Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good carier with a fixable bug Install instructions for all the various pieces are not coordinated or described well and therefore installation is much more difficulty than it should be.,,,,Unit works but is easily removed allowing complete removal of carrier...by anyone., i.e. stolen. Simple design fix would require a "key" to remove bolts. Something like what is found on high end vehicle wheels.

I have seen reviews for the frontloader that says when on a Subaru Outback you can't open the back door unless the rack is mounted backwards. Could you tell me if this rack is going to have the same issue? Thanks!

Hey there, Thanks for reaching out to us! I just scoured the Yakima site as well as several others...and I haven't found any instances of this having to be mounted backwards. You should be fine with this, with the regular set-up! Hope this helps you out.
