I've had mine about two years now, I finally beat the crap out of them to the point I probably shouldn't be wearing them any more, but they are so bloody comfortable! I wear them for everything and am currently looking to get another pair of vibrams. The only issue I had with my KSOs is that if I was on a smooth wet surface it can sometimes be slippery because bottoms are pretty smooth, other than that they are wonderful, so just don't go running on wet stone/smooth concrete and you should be fine. As is I plan on trying the Treksports this time around, and if I don't like their fit I'll stick with getting a new pair of KSOs. Either way you can't go wrong.
I love the KSOs! I have bought two pairs now. My feet were always hurting while working out in tennis shoes. Not so in the KSOs! There is a small learning curve to getting them on, but once you get the hang of it, it is easy. Plus they stretch out a little bit. I wear them for Zumba, kickboxing, boot camp, you name it. Oh, and I have tried the newer KMD Sport LS, and I prefer the KSOs. The reason- the inside of the KSOs are made with leather and my feet grip the leather and do not slide around. The KMDs are much more cool looking, and while comfortable to wear, I do NOT like them for working out because the inside is made of a polyester and my feet slide around in them.
I affectionately call them my frog feet. They've kept me shin splint pain free for over 150 miles now. Watch the sizing. According to the chart I should have been a 38 (way too small) but I ended up getting the 40.
Got the wrong size the first time; customer service was great at getting me a replacement out quickly. Love my shoes!! Little awkward getting use to them at first, but once you do they totally rock.
I bought these in the hopes of them being my intro into barefoot running. First of all, break these in slowly! I made the mistake of thinking that this would be a natural transition because I am a natural forefoot striker - I was aching for days. Also I found that the tops of the toes got holes instantly if I tripped (and I'm a klutz so this was inevitable) so within a few days I gained 4 small holes - still functional though. I wish I could say I could run in these but I found that at 2-3 km the toes start rubbing - could be just my feet or the size. That being said, great and comfortable for everyday stuff, I wear these to the gym all the time. Machine wash = definite plus!

After waiting forever to find a pair of these on sale, I finally went for it! I bought the camo color set, and they are actually really pretty. They are a lighter turquoise-y blueish green, really nice. I love to be barefoot, and I started seeing people wearing these and did my research. I don't wear them all time, because when it gets cold, it gets cold. But I love these little shoes sooo much. Just take good care of them and wash them once in a while so they don't stink toooo much. Also, don't dry them in the dryer. That's what my friend told me. And don't wear them to work where you will be standing all day, because your feet will hurt.
I've been trying the barefoot running thing for the past few months and so far I've been pleased. These are the first minimalist shoes I've tried and so far I don't really foresee myself switching back to the "standard" running shoe any time soon. If you are trying to switch over, these are an excellent shoe to start with as they are the closest shoe to barefoot you will find and it pretty much forces you to switch your gait pattern or you will be feeling some pain. Break into them slowly and you should make the transition with no problem! Cons: they were difficult to get on at first (they break in); gravel can be a problem to run on. No problems with shoe odor.
Barefoot is wonderful. This culture does not do barefoot well and our calves are too weak to handle it full bore to start. Start out slowly and you will suddenly find you have sensory awareness in your feet and toes that has excaped you for years. Love the freedom and the new found strength in my feet and calves. Great product. DKW
First of all, I ordered the KSOs along with a pair of Bikilas. The day they arrived, my sister was in town to help me move. Before I had the chance to take the tags off, she had stolen them from me, claiming they were too comfortable to take off her feet. Sisters. She just had back surgery last year, and we spent a day of moving heavy furniture and boxes, and somehow at the end of the day, and even week, she had no back pain. She claims it was the shoes. We then proceeded to go on a four-day road trip across the country, and she still would not take the shoes off. I made her order me a replacement pair. They should be here tomorrow!

I have chronic knee pain form an injury and have not been able to run comfortably for years. After chatting with a friend about his Vibrams and reading the book Born to Run by Christopher McDougall; I purchased a pair of these shoes. I have yet to have knee pain after weeks of running. I like the KSO's the best because there is enough padding that I can go on trails, but not so much that it feels like a tennis shoe. The shoes wash well and go on any surface. The best part is the amount of burn I feel in my calves without all the jarring and shock to my bones and joints. A true barefoot experience. If you are a casual runner or avid one, get these shoes!
These shoes look so weird and I get so many double looks. It is great. It took a while to get use to them but now they are my first choice when choosing my shoes for the day. I love how they hug my feet and feel so natural. I amagine it must be how apes feel. I have washed them a few times and they wash up beautifully
