"actually waterproof, comfy, great traction"
12/11/11
I bought these boots for a long trip to the altiplano of Bolivia in the summer (their winter thus VERY cold and 14,000 ft altitude) and my feet were always happy. They were never sweaty despite walking and hiking all day and always well protected. I really liked that they were waterproof though I was very skeptical. Finally I tested out the waterproofness of them and true to the advertising, they are really waterproof while being breathable. Who knew technology could be so awesome (well, ok, we know Apple's amazing but footwear, seriously)?!

"Excellent quality, great choice for narrow heels, wear 'em til you can't no more."

2nd smartest? Vasque is the only brand that comes close to fitting my feet, with a difference in length of almost a 1/2 size, and my heels are very narrow. These fit so well, I thought I might be able to get away with not using moleskin on my heels, but alas, not so. No matter, this higher boot is just what I need. Shall I count the injuries? No, but the orthopedic surgeon has mandated that I don't breathe unless wearing custom orthodics, and Vasque boots always accommodate them.

"pretty good!"
04/20/08
I bought these boots for a hike up Mount Marcy figured I should give my sneakers a rest and they were really good. My only complaint is that my feet hurt a little, but I think it's because I ordered a size too big. I'm sure that in the right size that problem would be completely gone. Good ankle support, and they look nice too!
