Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well worth it!! I don't mean to sound redundant of previous reviews but this chair makes camping, backpacking, or anything where you need a rest so much more comfortable that I feel it is worth reiterating. The Trekker is lightweight, protects your pad, and gives your weary back the rest it deserves. If you can master removing and replacing the stays (which at first can seem like quite the chore) then you can convert it quickly and kick back while your friends sit on rocks and lean against trees. If your worried about spending the $$$ on something that seems less than necessary I would strongly recommend picking this item up. You won't be sorry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great product that doubles as a mattress protector The lounger is a great addition for those worried about damaging their expensive thermarest mattresses. Rectangular mats fit very well and mummy mats are adequately held in place. Once the mattress is inserted it can remain in the lounger which makes for a quick deployment when you get to camp. The fabric of the lounger also deadens the "noise" that many people complain about from the mattresses like the xtherm. The carbon fiber stays can be difficult to insert and remove when the product is brand new but they become easier to manipulate after a few uses. Overall the lounger is definitely worth the money.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not exactly what I was looking for! First off, when I first purchased this therm-a-rest, I thought that it was the actual chair itself but it is just the cover! You have to buy a sleeping pad with it! But if you already have a sleeping pad, this product is great! It is very comfortable and essential for someone who wants comfort while being out in the wilderness! It seems very durable at this point, but it is a little difficult to put on the sleeping bag, but once it is on it is good and works well! I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a comfortable therm-a-rest cover!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great I've used mine for at least 6 years--multiple trips each year. It's been great. I changed where the straps to roll it up are located and now it's super easy to whip out whenever I stop for lunch. Maybe the new model has changed the strap location. Not having to stuff the pad into the chair kit each time I want to use it, like other models, makes me much more likely to use it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super comfy, but a little bulky I love me Trekker Lounge. I've used it camping a few times so far, and I'm impressed that such a simple device can create such a comfortable seat out of a Therma-a-Rest. However, I probably would not take this on a backpacking trip. It adds a bit of bulk when you deflate and roll up the pad, and it's harder to get all of the air out. But if you're using this for car camping, or you have some extra space in your pack, the Trekker Lounge is a great investment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Freakin' aaahhhsome This is a great product. Very versatile, Ive used this from loungin' around the fire to 8 days of paddling a canoe. Protects my therm a rest mattress well, and is soft like a sheet next to my skinny skin skin. Much lighter than carrying a mattress AND a crazy creek chair, plus its much more comfortable. I've used this with all three of my mattresses (Prolite 4, Base Camp, and Trail Lite). Yey for Cascade designs- a real winner!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Sturdy but poor dimensions The 25-inch version gapes hopelessly on my 25-inch All Season, which is not even the thinnest mattress. Plus the design of the bottom curling under contradicts the suggested use as a mattress cover, unless you don't mind leaves and dirt from the ground on your feet. On the plus size it seems sturdy, but the material would be hard to sleep on. Regretfully returned. I'll try the Compack with a separate sheet.

does it roll up, if so what diameter?

Asked by: greg
Hiya, this item is a slip cover sleeve that needs a Therm-a-Rest mattress to convert it into a chair. It would roll up with the mattress it is covering. It rolls up to the size of the mattress. The packaged sack size is 20 x 5.5 inches. Hope this helps!

What is the difference between a 20 in and a 25 in? which one is better for a "neoair" and which one is better for a "evolite"?

Asked by: Johnny
Hey Johnny, Both the 20 in and the 25 in are the same item, just different sizes. The 20 in is designed for 20" pads and the 25 in is designed for 25" pads. Depending on the lengths of your pads you would need to order the chair that is closest in length. Please note this will only fit rectangular pads and not mummy pads.
