These pants aren't full zip (maybe 10 in of zip at the ankle) which I would have loved, but they were on the clearance rack and they feel great on. They are light and comfortable over multiple bottom layers. The waistband isn't too high on its own, and it's easy to roll it down once for an even lower rise if desired. I haven't worn these out in a downpour yet, but I plan to bring them along on my trip to Kilimanjaro and will put them to the test if we are hit with rain and/or snow during the climb.
These are great pair of rain pants for a non GoreTex pair! They fit well, are lightweight and breathable, and work well in rain or snowy conditions. Would recommend!
I bought these pants for hiking and commuting to work on my bike in the rain. So far, they have lived up to my expectations. I am 5'5 and 130 lbs and a small in these is still large enough to fit over jeans with comfort. They hold up well and I like the zippers on the legs.
