"Bringin' Back the Mitten" 03/26/13
These mittens are perfect for windy, cold days, and hold up well during bike rides and runs. They have thumb and finger grips, so you can still function despite the limited finger motion. Best of all, mittens use your fingers' natural combined warmth, rather than gloves which separate your fingers. Other reviewers mentioned that the mittens are not good for wet conditions; I have found the mittens to be snow resistant (you can wear them just fine on a snowy day) so long as you do not get too crazy.I liked my pair so much that I bought a size large for my husband and did not tell him they were woman mittens :) he wears them all the time.
"Works Well" 08/10/12
If you love the denali jacket by northface, its not surprising that you will love the denali mitt. And if youve never worn the jacket, but your thinking about getting these mitts, i say get them. they are warm, stylish, and well worth your money!
"Cute + cuddly!" 01/28/12
These mittens are toasty warm as long as you keep them dry or it's not below zero (but then at that temperature I'm not sure any mittens would suffice!) I walk my pup every night after work so I was looking for something warm...so far all but one exceptionally cold night they performed. The fleece isn't waterproof so no snowfall fights. I'm fairly small at 5'5 and 105 lbs and I'm glad I ordered the S and not the XS. The S seems to fit perfect and smaller and my fingers would be packed in like sardines!

"Just like Gremlins" 11/30/11
They are adorable and fuzzy and soft but don't get them wet! (Or feed them after midnight.) Very cute, perfect for cold, dry days or wet days when you are carrying around a lot of stuff and people are happy to touch the wet door-handles for you. The name implies that these are pretty hardcore but they're more like a novelty mitten -- not super warm and the seams are exposed on the inside -- but very nice-looking. They are great for a mitten that will fit in your jacket pockets during the transition between seasons when you might find yourself colder than expected but not when you need to clean the snow off your car.
"Very nice, but not great when wet" 11/22/11
Dealing with MI winters, a good pair of gloves/mittens is key. These are great for walking around, driving, things like that. However, when they got wet (aka I picked up snow) they were not really waterproof enough. Overall, though, they are great if you aren't having snow ball fights or doing snow push-ups, but if you engage in those activities regularly, I'd look for a different pair.
"Great cool/dry mittens" 09/11/11
These are great, stylish mittens. I wear them whenever I am going shopping in the downtown area. I love the color, look, and fit! My ONLY problem was that you really can't wear these mittens when you are planning on touching the snow. They will get soaking wet. They are more for style and warmpth then winter sports.
