I love the venture pant. It's a great fit especially for a tall guy 6'3''. I wear these all the time when I know it's going to be wet especially. They are aperfect fit over another pant as well.
Bought these to wear when I went snowboarding in temperate weather. They are perfect! Unlined so only hold the temperature of what you wear underneath. Also great for physical activity! Very durable and worth the money. Would recommend highly
Haven't had a chance to take these pants out backpacking yet but I've worn them in the backyard during bad weather and while they don't provide much warmth they do a great job of shielding rain. The waist fits snuggly enough but isn't too constrictive. I usually wear a large pant but ordered an XL so I could wear it over other pants. That turned out to be a good move for me (usually wear a 34 waist and a 34 length)
i wanted something lightweight to throw in my pack and forget them until i need them. these are just what i was looking for. i got the L i have a 34 waist and i wanted to be able to through these over a pair of pants and the size is just fine. I actually might use these to play in the snow a little bit. just to keep dry probably won't do much for warmth but that is not at all what i was looking for.
These are great rain pants to always have as a backup. These are my second pair in many years since I cant find the first pair. Light, packable and get the job done. For the money and performance I think pantaloons take the cake
