"Not as warm as suggested" 05/16/13

I purchased this for my son 12 year old son for school and play. This jacket wouldn't even get him through the fall in Chicago, no way through a midwest winter even with a hoodie on underneath. He loved the look of it and the lack of bulk but even he had to admit it wasn't warm enough (and he wears shorts until December if there's no snow on the ground). Need to modify description a bit I think.

"Best lightweight down jacket available." 04/16/13

First impression, it’s not as warm as I thought it would be for a down jacket. It’s super light weight and thin, but I thought It would retain a little more heat than it did. It is possible that my expectations were too high though. I have had a couple of down vests over the years that were warmer, but they were little thicker.Now don’t get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE this jacket. I wear it all the time… literally. It’s not only a great layering piece (which is why I got it), but it looks and fits well enough to wear all the time.For full review go to: http://www.OutdoorGearReview.org

"Great Jacket" 02/23/13

Love the jacket. The first I received had a hole in the left pocket, but I understand that these things happen from time to time. Love the look of the jacket. Not shiny, extremely light weight and warm. Good fit.
