Bought these after my rock climbing instructor raved about them. Superb comfort from the first time I laced them up! This kind of product is what keeps me buying TNF again and again. And as for Moosejaw...thank you so much for carrying these boots in red. No other retailer had that color in stock. Score!

"The perfect hiking boots..."

I bought these very close to an upcomming hiking/camping trip to Mammoth Cave National Park and was a bit worried that I wouldn't have enough time to break them in. I worried for nothing. I ended up only being able to wear them for two days before the trip and that was more than enough time. They fit very well, are extremely light and are true to size. In Mammoth Cave National Park I battled 100F heat and I found the ventilation of these boots perfect. Not once was I uncomfortable and over the uneven terrain they offer superior ankle support and flexibility. I carried a 30lb pack and these boots offered great cushioning.
