They are the most comfortable pants I have worn when trekking the mountain!! They move with you and if you need to tie them off to wade a creek the drawstrings at the ankles are great.
I bought these pants for Athletic Training and hiking. I was VERY impressed with this pair of pants. Comfortable and stretchy which is perfect for athletic training out on the field and easily perfect for hiking. They are lightweight but strong fabric. The size runs what I would say a little big. I am 5'10" 180lbs and a medium fit me fine. I will for sure be buying another pair soon!!
These pants are great for all climbing endeavors. Maybe not ice though. They're stretchy and don't ever restrict movement. However, they're very, very baggy. The gusset isn't a diamond gusset. It goes down the length of both legs, resulting in some baggy, gangster pants. The drawcord at the ankles makes you look like a euro comp climber, but is necessary to keep the baggy pants from bunching up and obscuring your feet. Overall, not bad, but I wouldn't wear 'em on any dates.
