Rated 5 out of 5 by from Waterproof, minimalist shell that doesn't feel clammy, great fit The Gore-tex active shell breathes better and crinkles less than Paclite, and the micromesh interior is svelty against your skin. If you want the Active shell, this is one of the cheapest jackets it.,,The fit is tighter across the chest with room for the arms to move freely, and hangs 3 inches below the belt. I'm 5'11" 170lbs, and the medium's a perfect fit for me. Don't go a size up if you're worried about the tight chest, get a different jacket: or your sleeves will be too long. Able to fit down sweater underneath for insulation.,,Cinches around waist, face, and head, with velcro on each sleeve. Pit zips are noticeable with your arms by your sides, but not actively uncomfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's great to wear on an everyday basis, but can handle rough situations as well. I love this jacket! I wear it to work everyday, and love how it has three different layers for various types of weather conditions. I work in New York City and use the outer layer as a fall/rain coat because it's not too heavy and keeps me dry without getting me sweaty. Both the fleece and the outer shell together are like a god send in the cold weather, but when it's cold in the morning and warmer in the afternoons, it's nice to have options to move between. Overall, if you're looking for a versatile jacket that will last you for many years to come, then this is the one for you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this jacket. (First, do your research. Is Gore-Tex Active Shell what you need? What about PacLite or ProShell?),,,,This jacket feels great and looks great (trim cut). I've hiked in it, run in it, and sat around in the rain in it. It packs up really small and feels super light when on. It has handled everything I've thrown at.,,,,I can't really talk about how it has held up over the long-run because it has only been a year. But I will say that I plan on wearing this jacket as I take on the West Coast Trail this summer. I don't think that I will be disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Rain Jacket LIght weight. Very pack friendly. This jacket will keep you dry, no doubt about that. I like the hidden draw string for the waist line. This will be an excellent for warm wet days in the spring/summer. I have not field tested but with some strategic layering underneath will even make a good fall/southeastern winter outer layer. I will also be wearing this on some kayak trips (yeah its that good).
