"High quality tent at a great price." 04/12/11

We purchased this tent to support our son on his Boy Scout camping trips. It was very easy to setup (even in the dark, when you show up late) and take down. The average time for our 11 year old to put up the tent was less than 10 minutes -bag to stakes. Our camping trips were in national/state parks and even on a military reservation where we encountered everything from rocky to heavy grass environments. Our family has enjoyed this tent for two season, through rainstorms and high winds. In every situation it performed great -no leaks and while other tents in our camp were blowing over or lifting off the ground our Northface handled perfectly.

"Paying more for the brand name, then quality" 07/04/10

Got this tent set up, and took it right back down, and ready to send backMaterial is very thin, the floor is nylon, and you can see the ground through it, was worried that a piece of grass might poke a hole through it.... when it stretches out, i am worried that it might rip, as there isnt much holding the tent peg parts from ripping..... overall, it looks nice, but i think you are paying more for the brand name then anything else
