The Box Shot Backpack from the North Face is a well-designed, simple pack that will let you bring the necessary items wherever you go. The Box Shot pack has a large compartment that will fit most 15" laptops and smaller pockets for accessories. It also has daisy chain loops along the outside of the pack that will let you bring additional items by attaching them with a biner. "Pretty awesome, bigger than it looks." 12/07/11
Just got this yesterday, loving it so far. I am in college and don't have a break between my classes during some days of the week. This bad boy can hold 3 text books, 2 notebooks, my 17 in. computer and all of my crap and still not look to full. The shoulder straps and and back padding are like a dream! It's worth the money, it seems veru sturdy and like it will last a long time.

While the hip strap leaves something to be desired, this is a great pack for day to day use.I.E. if you need a backpack for school or college or whatever, it'll get the job done.If it was an option, I would add a third compression strap vertically, as the top half tends to flop around if your bag's not too full. But if that's not too huge of a deal to you, I would definitely go for this pack.(p.s.--The hydration bladder pocket is actually ideal for transporting up to a 15" laptop)

I have this bag in red and absolutely love it. I use it every day at college to carry books and my laptop. I love how it has the separation for my laptop to keep it protected. I also love how it has all the pockets and great organization. This is an awesome bag. Love, love, love it!

Its great for camping or class. I used during school and when I want to go camping with my friends. Has great storage space and is well organized so everything has its own place. Its a little expensive but the amount of time I've used it makes up for the price.

I have had the Box Shot for a year now and I absolutely love it! I use it at school as a college student and it fits all of my books. It is usually packed to the max and there is no signs of tearing or wear in general. It is a bit pricey, but I think it is definitely worth it. I have also used it on camping trips with my family and pretty much everything else. The laptop compartment is perfect for my computer and is fairly padded as well. The side pockets are great for water bottles and all of the adjustments allow for the perfect fit. I plan on using it for a few more years at least. Deep Blue/Mountain Water color all the way!
"Best bag ever!" 03/03/11
I've had the Box Shot for over a year now. No wear and tear whatsoever! The bag has been on multiple camping trips and I use it every day for class. The lap top compartment fits my macbook pro perfectly. The water bottle compartments are snug and have a cool extra pocket perfect to quickly stash gear while on the move. Most recently I have taken the Box Shot on trips to New York and San Francisco, it fits tons of stuff and has wicked pockets...especially the vertical front pockets. This bag is completely versatile, perfect for class, camping or overnight bag.

I love this pack pack ever so much. I'm in college, and I would recommend it anyone. I especially love the lap top holder! It also comes in great colors. Everyone needs this backpack- The North Face did a great job with this pack
"Great bag, versatile, carries a ton" 11/12/10
I got this back about a month and a half ago as a computer bag for while I travel. It turns out the bag is so versatile that I ended up using it every day as a bag to and from work. The smaller of the two big pouches has tons of little pockets and pouches for pens, pencils, phones, etc. The only downside is if you load it up too much, it gets bulky and the two outer pouches loose some storage space. The bottom pouch is probably the best feature. I can load it with computer and cell phone cables without cluttering up all the other sections. Overall, great bag, carries a lot, great protection for a computer, highly recommended.
