Super light dry sack, but still 100% waterproof. Really thin fabric, so not something you would drag after you down a canyon, but great for keeping things waterproof inside a backpack. Recommended
Gotta keep stuff dry! Medical kit, toilet paper, clothes, etc. - The sacks work perfectly for the job. The larger sizes are also great for 1) backpack liners and 2) storage of a backpack on a kayaking trip. My buddy and I have done a few trips now where we stow our backpacking pack (emptied out) in the 20L sack and strap it to the top of the kayak. Kayak downstream then hike back to the car!
We used the 35L dry sack to bear bag my food, and unfortunately, it rained all night. Fortunately, our food stayed dry (and uneaten by bears). We also used 13L and 20L versions to keep a dry set of clothes in our packs. The packs didn't get wet, so no telling if we averted disaster there, but I feel pretty confident that the sacks were up to the task. These are lightweight, easy to use, and very convenient for a number of uses. I will be getter some additional smaller ones for other items to help keep my pack well organized.
I use this product as a stuff sack for backpacking. Right now I only have one, but I plan to purchase more. The one I have now is used to store my food while hiking. The stuff sack keeps my food dry which is a big plus for wet nights in bear country where your food must be hung. The fabric is also super light weight. Please note that the product description says it stays dry when not submerged, so I would not recommend this for water sports.
I found it a bit difficult to get right the first few times. I practiced and then dunked it water to get it right. If you don't get the top rolling down the correct way it creates a gap and lets water in. However, I put my silverware in it for a 30 dayer across Europe and it never ripped or got punctured.
Used these for my toiletries while high alpine backpacking. Snow and rain don't get through. And they are super light weight. I use mine all the time while traveling.
I got it for my phone and camera on the AT, and it did the job of keeping my electronics dry for minimal weight. It's nice to have a piece of equipment with no problems, does what it says, and weighs next to nothing. I highly recommend it for its low weight, if you're considering a heavier one for durability, don't worry. This one's a trooper.
These bags make great space savers in my pack; you can put your spare clothes in them roll all the air out, and your clothes are sure to be dry when you open the bag back up. They are super durable and the buckles work flawlessly. I'm a little OCD when it comes to organizing my pack and these guys keep everything in their place. The different colors are great because I can quickly identify and reach for a bag and know what's in it. Highly recommended!
theses bags are perfect for keeping a change of clothes, or anything else you can fit into to it dry on the trail. its east to squeeze all the air out and seal it up tight. i plan to get more in different sizes as they are very versatile and well made.
Keeps my electronics safe and dry on backpacking trips through rain, spills, and high humidity. Weighs practically nothing yet made of durable material.
