"This is a great shoe. It is comfortable and gets the job done. Exceeded my expectations." 02/04/13

If we assume it's class is sport climbing with a side of bouldering, then I would say it is one of the best out there. It is surprisingly comfortable. Breaking in a new shoe always hurts but this is as easy going as it gets. That being said, the shoe is quite aggressive. It will hook on and stick to anything you put your foot on. I am terrible at heel hooks and I find them easy and relatively painless. I have started climbing well above what my grade used to be on boulder problems. The laces help you get the right tension each time you want. It will take some getting used to if this is your first pair of aggressive shoes but they get the job done.

"Favorite shoe ever" 06/05/11

These bad boys are my go to shoe for anything from slab to overhung nonsense...very comfy and considering buying another pair of the same shoe...but i will prolly get them resoled and try the slipper version

"great shoe for steep, tech bouldering and moderately less painful than most agressive climbing shoes" 09/07/10

Absolutely love these shoes!!! as far as hammertoe, aggresive bouldering shoes go, definitely a good buy. heel hooks and toe hooks are grippy and solid, definitely a big up for confidence on those tricky problems. As well the shoe itself has very little stretch but the arch coupled with the hooked toe feels much like a glove. This comes in handy as the more pressure you apply to the toe, the more the shoe flattens out to a sturdy platform. Only used for indoor bouldering so far, but the rubber seems thick enough to hold up for a while on outdoor terrain. Id say the shoe is best suited for and intermediate to advanced climber who will use it for steep technical bouldering problems
