If you are unsure of how to find your foot measurement, use the instructions below. You will need a sheet of paper, ruler, pen, and a pair of socks you intend on wearing with the shoes you pick out.

• While wearing the socks, stand on the sheet of paper and place the heel of your foot against the wall. Make sure your heel is wedged firmly against it.

• Use the pen and ruler to draw a straight line just in front of your big toe.

• Use the ruler to measure the distance between the wall and the line you drew in front of your big toe.

• Once you have your measuremet, refer to the Foot Measurement Size Conversion chart above.

• Now treat yourself to a candy bar. You've worked hard today.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great trail shoe If it's any indication how much I love this shoe, I'm on my 4th pair. I used them for ultramarathon training and had no issues. They got me through my first trail marathon on the muddy, rocky, hilly Berryman Trail and the next year on the Berryman 50. Main things I love are the lacing system -- one pull and done, and it never comes untied. Also that massive toe cap. If there's any downside to these it's the weight, but since I wear size 14s everything is heavy. I've also had one pair of the Goretex. This is great for winter use but it holds water, which is bad after a creek crossing and in the summer you do not want GTX, trust me on this on.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Comfortable shoes, but I wore holes in them after two months of casual hiking and dog-walking. I purchased these shoes because I was looking for a long-lasting pair of shoes that also were comfortable and supportive as I have a previously injured ankle. I used them for approximately two months walking or hiking with my dog daily, anywhere from 1-7 miles or so. I was saddened when I found two half-dollar sized holes in the interior lining of both the left and right shoe. I went to my local Moosejaw shop and turned them in for warranty, but it has been about a month now with no word. These were great shoes...when I got to wear them. Unfortunately, I paid good money for them to sit on a shelf somewhere waiting to be returned or exchanged.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Incredible comfort and stability, wear out a little quick for the price I am on my 3rd pair of these in the past 18 months. Originally bought them for hiking but they were so comfortable and just all around awesome that I ended up wearing them everywhere. First pair definitely lasted the longest as I had them in rotation with a bunch of other kicks, second and third have gone faster than I would like as I just find myself trying to psyche myself up to wear other shoes. Caveat, I do wear these to work - on a concrete floor in a restaurant where a slow night feels like you are drowning in a volcano - so not exactly what they are designed for. Will probably suck it up and buy a 4th pair soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazing comfort and fit right out of the box, great traction but questionable durability. Out of the box I immediately liked the fit and they required little to no break in time. On the trails they hold their own with great traction and I never feared running through the rain and mud. I typically run 15-20 miles a week on the trail and after three months I noticed a severe breakdown in the support and cushioning. It quickly got to the point where it hurt my feet to walk in them. I purchased a second pair and was disappointed to have a similar experience. Overall, I would definitely recommend this shoe to a friend who only hits the trails a few times a month or for more casual wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Comfortable These shoes by Salomon are incredibly comfortable. They are easy to slip on and off with the pull drawstrings. The drawstrings seem to be very durable and should withstand the normal wear and tear, just watch out for Kujo. The shoes have great support and are very comfortable. Great for long walks in the city or off the road less traveled. It seems to be very breathable, don't know for sure because it's December and my feet are not gasping for the cold New England air. Great overall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fits like a glove, for your feet! These shoes fit great. The Salomon lacing system allows you to pull the shoes to fit your feet perfectly and do not stretch as much as laces whiles running hard down trails. The laces and shoes are extremely durable and have held up to much pounding and scrapes. These shoes also keep your feet warmer than most other trail shoes I've owned (many!). For this reason, I primarily use them for running trails in the winter. The tread pattern also works well in slippery conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! This was my first foray in the trail runner vs. hiking boot battle. And I can definitely say that I will not be returning to boots any time in the foreseeable future. These are so comfortable that I even stopped carrying crocks or other camp shoes, I just loosen these up and rock them all night long. They dry super fast too, no worries about getting them wet or muddy. So if you are thinking about switching to trail runners this season I sat DO IT! DO IT WITH THESE!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great shoe I went for a ten mile hike through mixed terrain with these, straight out of the box. They were comfortable for the whole hike and no hot spots. The grip is good on both rock and loose rock. The lacing system is easy to use, and I was able to easily adjust the shoes throughout the hike. That said, I do have doubts if the thin laces will actually hold up to repeated pounding. ,,,,The size runs true as well. All in all, these seem like a very good trail shoe.
