• RAB clothing and outerwear is categorized into three different fits. Please use the fit information below to help you find your ideal fit.

SLIM: Close fitting for maximum performance.

REGULAR: Medium fitting, styles with this fit will be contoured with room for movement.

RELAXED: Looser fitting with a more generous fit.

• Please keep in mind that the fit of each garment makes allowances for whether or not clothing will be layered underneath. For example, if it's a regular fit shell jacket, it will still have room for several layers to be worn underneath, whereas a regular fit tee will not. Sorry to sound so bossy.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Quality, but not true to size. The jacket seems to be of excellent quality. The twilight color is pretty sweet. The sizing is my only gripe. I am a classic medium (5’11’, 175 lbs, 40 inch chest, 32 inch waist); this jacket was just a little small in every area. It was too short and too tight in the chest for me with a baselayer and a R1 fleece underneath. I have the Rab Neutrino in a medium and it fits nicely. I am not sure what happened with this jacket. I understand that the fit is supposed to be slim, but I think it should be the proper length and should also allow for a very light fleece and baselayer underneath. However, if the jacket fits, I say go for it. I chose this jacket over the FA downlight jacket because of the water-resistant down option. As a comparison, this jacket is less lofty and fits smaller than the downlight. I guess I will have to wait on FA to come out with water-resistant hooded jacket.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Warmth for a cold blooded mam Great jacket . I bought it on sale n very pleased with it . Very warm for its weight . Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is due to its length . I am fairly short n slim (5 ft 4 ins ) n was surprised it scarcely reach my waist. If I have bought a medium there will be enough room for at least 4 underlying layers soobviously the small size is the correct one Everything else is fantastic but the length did spoil it a bit for me

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lightweight and warm! Got this jacket as I have had a great experience with all of my other RAB purchases. This jacket doesn't disappoint - lightweight and very warm in Chicago winters - what more can you want? It also packs down into itself (the chest pocket doubles as a built in stuff sack). Lastly, people have showed concern about the number of baffles and the possibility of wind coming into these seams, but that has not been an issue for me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great jacket! I really like this jacket for its warmth, light weight and looks. It is fitting enough to serve as a layer under a shell but not too tight to discourage layering under this jacket. I know, that's a lot of layers...The pockets are the perfect size and it packs down well. From a style standpoint, I like the alternating colors from body to zipper to liner. Highly recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic Just purchased this RAB down jacket. Great features at a great value.. especially on MOOSEJAW.. I think this will be a great asset for my winter activities (if winter ever arrives).. I can see myself tearing up the slopes at Killington and staying warm on the coldest days. Snowshoeing with my girl or just hanging out drinking beer and looking super fine.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Not what I was looking for I have numerous down and synthetic insulated jackets and parkas for everything from somewhat cool weather during summer backpacking in the mountains, to full-on arctic trips and high altitude mountaineering. I was hoping that this would fit into my lineup as a moderately warm jacket for some winter mountain, cold fall nights and mornings in camp, and high-altitude trekking. I was disappointed by the lack of loft for its weight, and the sacrifice of having a sewn-through 'cold spot' every couple of inches that these newer style micro-baffle down jackets all have, in the name of trimmer fashion, vs the loftier traditional down jackets with larger individual baffles. This was no lighter, but appeared significantly less warm, than my Mtn Hardwear Kelvinator jacket, even though the latter only has 650-fill down. I thought that I might like the stiffened brim on the hood as well, but it drooped over my line of sight, and bending it didn't help much. It is nice-looking and well-made, and if I hadn't a number of other down jackets already, I might have kept it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from As always, top notch. Really dig Rab's jackets and outwear. Good fit at XL for my 44 inch chest 6'0" 210lbs frame. Cut leqves room for layering but doesn't feel baggy. Super light, high quality, super warmth for weight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight, WARM windstopper!! Moved from Florida to Mass and needed something warm with a hood. Couldn't be happier for my new Rab Men's Microlight Jacket! I'm now certain that I will survive the winter.
