"Awesome uppers, good grip, stable and smooth ride."
Coming from off a trend of more minimal running, I wanted something more protective and initially went with the Altra Lone Peak. But after only ~60 miles in the really firm riding Atlras, the tread began to crumble and I started looking elsewhere. After a good deal of research, and hesitation about the dynamic offset business (coming strictly from my enjoyment of zero-drop shoes), I decided to grab a pair. No regrets! They've got a super soft and forgiving ride, and the variable drop really is unnoticeable. The shoe has a really smooth turnover and the tread is grippy in all but the nastiest mud. My only issue with the shoe was initially tying them too tight. Seems like a dumb issue, but the sausage-laces don't slip and adjust, so lace em how you want them. Overall, its a fantastic shoe, and I'll be getting another pair once my current pair dies.
