Very lightweight backpack which is really nice. Perfect for college students or a small hike. Cup holders on side are very durable and won't wear out like the ones made out of netting on my last bag. Bag does have little pockets to put things in, however, they would be much better if they were in a separate pocket as opposed to the main pocket. If the bag is full, it can be difficult to reach items near the back. Overall, a really well-made bag!!!!!
I use this as my work bag in the Park Service. It's just the right size - I've got my first aid kit, raincoat, reflective vest, tons of pens, keys, and other random items and paperwork in there and still have room for whatever extras i may need, but it's not too bulky. I like the compartments and organizers (though any bag could use more). It isn't a serious hiking backpack, but it's still comfortable for a few miles on the trail with some weight in it. I added my own sternum strap. It's also nice for a weekend away. Waterbottle pockets are nice and deep. Padded top pocket handy for sunglasses, wallet and phone.
