"Good but loud..." 04/19/13
I bought this to run in on rainy days. It is great at releasing heat thanks to the zippers under the arms and it does a great a keeping you dry. It is wind proof and generous enough in size to put a warm shell underneath. My only complaint is the that when the hood is up, it is rather loud in my ears. Most rain jackets are so it is only a huge issue if are sensitive noise light this directly by your ear. Otherwise good purchase, especially if you catch it on sale!
"Perfect rain jacket!" 02/23/13
This jacket is perfect for keeping you super dry. The hood gives lotsa coverage. There are plenty of pockets, inside and out, to keep your belongings dry. Not warm or anything though, which is what I expected, but just in case ya'll can't tell, this is not a warmth coat. Keeps you dry though! Love it!
"Great Rain Jacket" 02/13/13
I live in South GA, one of the most humid places in the US. That said it rains a ton here, and when it does, my wife and I both sport our Pat rain jackets. We've had ours for a few years now and their still keepin the water out!
"This Torrentshell ROCKS!!" 02/09/13
This was the only jacket I chose to pack during my 6 month adventure in Taiwan. The weather was extremely unpredictable sunny morning skies and heavy rain and winds by noon time. Whatever the case I was always prepared!! This jacket is very light and durable. The zippers located on the under-arms of the jacket were great for those hot/humid hikes through the national parks. I would recommend this jacket to anyone!!
"Good rain protection" 02/01/13
Purchased this for my girlfriend for those rainy days. Good rain jacket, keeps her very dry on those rainy backpacking trips. Not as good as my Arc'Teryx Alpha SL but it was 1/3 the price. If your not looking to break the bank on a rain jacket, do not hesitate, buy this jacket. Also blocks wind pretty well
"Favorite Windbreaker. Thumbs Up!" 01/22/13
I purchased this as a windbreaker for riding my bike. All other jackets I've tried would accumulate moisture inside the jacket after a little while. This one breathes really well. The only accumulation of moisture happened right on the seam sealed seams and where any extra logo stitching is on the jacket, everywhere else was dry. It's just an added bonus that it's a rain coat too. It's a pretty color (I got the Aramanth), nice styling and will work well for hiking and kicking around town on windy and possibly rainy days. For me it's a great value in that I can use it for biking, hiking and everyday use!
"Perfect- great fit, appearance, and functional" 01/19/13
This raincoat is perfect for literally any activity in the rain. I wear it to brunch or for a hike and it is always incredibly comfortable and allows no water inside. I would recommend this to a friend. The fit runs in line with normal women's sizing and the colors are bold and vibrant
"Great coat for rain or wind" 12/04/12
I love this jacket. I often wear it over a Mountain Hardware down jacket and it is super warm. The design of this jacket is great-the zippers under the arms and the adjustable hood and the drawstrings on the waistline are all good additions.
"Breathable" 11/18/12
I love that this jacket leaves enough room for layers. It is definitely not warm enough to wear by itself. I got a purplish jacket and the color is awesome. It is perfect for what I wanted it for, and I know the next time I am in a rainstorm this jacket will keep me dry.
