I bought this and several other running skirts to try to find one I liked. I run long distances so my main criteria for rating this are:1. Fit2. ComfortWhen I tried it on it felt a little loose/baggy. I range somewhere between small and x-small (size 2 or 4). Right now I'm closer to the small end of the range. I think an x-small might have been a better choice for fit.It was comfortable to wear around the house. The shorts under the skirt aren't as fitted as I could prefer but they were comfortable to wear walking around. Once I started running the shorts (under-shorts?) were a distraction. I preferred the shorts to just show my butt cheeks because that was their proclivity anyway and pulling them down was distracting and a nuisance. After 4 miles the shorts lost all appeal. They were no longer comfortable and I was tired of my butt cheeks showing. I wouldn't recommend them unless you're just hanging out in them.
1. The color is pinker than it looks online (but still a cute color).2. True to size. 3. Perfect length--not too short. Although, I'm only 5'3", so that might not be saying much. 4. My husband is a big fan of me wearing this skirt.
I really like this skirt! I have not run in it yet but I have worked out in my living room doing arobics. Very comfortable but a little on the short side but I like it that way so I can show off my legs :) Looking forward to wearing this on a hike and running on the trails.
First off, this skirt runs a little large. I'm am almost always a small, and I ended up having to go to another store to get this thing in an extra small. Anyway, I love this skirt. I've wanted a running skirt for a long time, but everyone I tried on looked baggy, long, and stupid. This is one a perfect length with no weird puff. It's really comfortable and easy to move in. The low waistband is wide and non-restrictive. The attached boy shorts are super comfortable too, not too long or too tight. My only complaint is the back pockets. I wish they were a tad bigger. They're perfect for gels, but I really, really wish I could fit my phone in there...with the headphones attached. Grr.
