Women's Fit Guide Details & Info

Patagonia's measurements refer to body size and NOT garment dimensions. Sorry for yelling about it.

Each Patagonia product is designed and shaped specifically for its intended use, and below are their generalized four fit descriptions, and details about each fit. The Patagonia fit for each style can be found in the product description features or specifications.

• Conforms to the body's contours.

• Closer-fitting. Slim-fitting technical garments may be worn over baselayers and light midlayers.

• Neither slim nor oversized. Regular-fitting technical garments may be worn over heavier midlayers. Men's regular fit pants have a slimmer fit through that thigh, lower leg, and cuff.

• Drapes loosely on the body. Men's relaxed fit pants have a bit of extra room through the hip, thigh, lower, and cuff.

• Boxy, athletic, with a traditional crew neck.

• Formfitting and longer in the torso, with a wider, deeper neck (not quite scoop).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from awesome This jacket is the best. It is still blowing my mind that it can be so light weight, yet so warm. Another thing I really love it that you can move around good in it. I have a North Face jacket and I feel so limited in my range of motion. With the nano puff, I can do all the crazy moves. I was between the nano puff and Patagonia's down sweater, but I went with the nano because its cheaper, and the nano's down alternative works when it is wet too...just in case The nano is supposed to be slightly less warm than the down sweater, but I got a fleece pullover for $8 at Walmart to layer with the nano and I am super warm!!! Get this jacket for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Don't be a fool. How could this not be an unbelievable jacket if a boy bander actually touched this jacket? (Thank you Nick Lachey) Anyway, living in San Francisco the weather often is bi polar. This jacket is the medication I needed to warm my soul. Not only does it do the job, having a kelly green jacket makes me noticeable when trying to be seen by my Irish friends. The hood is perfect as it wraps properly around my face, it's crazy light weight and will ball up in my bag when it isn't needed. Don't wear this jacket if you are trying to spy on a neighbor, or if you don't want to be seen. But if you don't want to be seen, I'd suggest wearing black.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket I wore my nano puff hoody for the first time last weekend and have been wearing it ever since. It is perfect for fall weather. I purchased a second one recently without the hood because it will pack smaller without it and would like it in spring as it folds so small. If your one to like to go out in the day and don't know when you will be venturing back it is nice to be able to tuck away a jacket conviently for latter use. I also found it fun to wear to work in the morning. I haven't had to turn on the car heat yet with it on which saves on fuel. I also never forget my jacket at work or feel like I'm lugging it home as I tuck it away in my bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great jacket I am a mom of two who doesn't spend much time or money on on me. This jacket was the best investment I have spent on myself. It's the perfect no brainer "go-to " jacket. It is super warm and lightweight. Living at 9,000 feet in the rockie mountains I need a coat that will hold up against the weather. From plowing 3 feet of snow in the morning to those cool summer evenings, this coat is very versatile. I layer it over top a hoodie for extra warmth in the winter and wear as is in the spring and fall. Plus I love the orange color. Makes it super easy for my kids to spot me when I am waiting for them outside of school or hiking up in the woods. love this jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cozy, warm, stuffs in a sack... what more could you want? ,,I just received my Nano Puff jacket and while I haven't tested it in cold conditions yet, it feels very warm for being so INCREDIBLY lightweight. I will say the Flash Pink is very very bright - a search party will have no trouble locating you if you get lost in the woods :) It's bright, bubblegum pink.,,,,In terms of size, I usually wear a small size top (I am 5'6"/135 lbs/C) and was worried whether I should get a small or medium because I want to be able to wear a base layer. I went with the small based on the size chart and it fits GREAT and falls just below my hips. ,,,,With a 12 oz weight and built in stuff sack, it should be perfect for hiking and camping!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I did a massive amount of research to find the best deal in terms of price, durability, weight, and warmth. The patagonia nana puff hoody meet all of this requirements! Although, fairly expensive (if you can't find a sale) this jacket is worth every penny. Super light weight and packs into it's own pocket. This version (vs. to the nano puff without the hood) offers more warmth without taking up extra space. It's water resistant synthetic material makes it ideal for backpacking as the down version is more expensive and becomes useless when wet. Side note, this jacket runs larger than most (normally a s but had to order xs). This jacket will now be going on every backpacking trip I take!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Awesome, cute light insulating layer Gorgeous vivid color (I got the blue) means you'll be easy to spot if you wander off. Also, tons of compliments for cuteness. Super lightweight and compressible. High neck, drawstring hem, and not-too-tight elastic wrists help keep body heat in when you want it. Love the full zip, and it's thin enough to make over-heating less of a possibility when you don't want to stop to remove a layer. ,,,,Worst - the hood, which temporarily turns me into a cyclops every time I turn my head; it's seriously annoying to feel it scraping over my eyelashes. Might be good under a climbing helmet which will keep the hood in place, or sitting around a campfire when the cute guys are directly across from you. ,,,,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome! I had my eye on the nano puff hoody for a while and finally purchased it. I love it! I am 5'8" and about 123lbs and the small fits great. I was a little hesitant about getting the green color thinking it was going to be too bright but its a great color! not too bright but still is different than anything else I have which is usually blacks and darker colors. I plan to use it for around town as well as under my hard shell jacket after skinning up and needing a easily packable yet warm layer for the ski back down. Love the lightness of it too, not bulky at all yet still so warm. Perfect!
