Patagonia Women's Margot Dress

The Patagonia Women's Margot Dress is a super comfy long-sleeve dress that is awesome to slide on after a day of top-roping in Kootenai Canyon. This Patagonia dress features a crossover V-front that merges with a flattering midriff that's gathered for comfort, and a slight A-line hem that drapes to just above the knee. Three-quarter-length sleeves of the Margot dress provide enough warmth to cut an autumn evening's chill. The Margot is made from 6.2-oz 95% organic cotton that's prewashed for softness, with a touch of spandex (5%) for stretch, and recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.

I purchased this dress for my wife as she was looking for a summer dress that was light, not too short or too long for the heat of the summer. I was amazed at the pricing, we looked at some dresses at a local outfitter store and we could not buy one dress for the price we payed here...you rock moosejaw!

"cute and comfy for special occasions" 12/30/12

I have this dress in solid black and love it. I am 5'7" 130lb and actually ended up going with an xsmall because I wanted a more form fitting revealing look. The length was great, just above the knee, the fabric is so comfortable, and the dress can easily be worn on fancier occasions like weddings, or dressed down over a bikini on the beach. I first had a size small in another print, and the straps were long and fell down a lot, but this wasn't a problem with the xsmall.

"Flattering dress" 06/22/12

This dress looks wonderful. It is incredibly flattering, and the fabric feels great. No need to worry about any bra straps comin' out to say hi. I bought the xs, and I am in between sizes, and it fits perfectly. Great for after yoga, a day out in sweaty Chicago summers, and even date night (hint hint, boys)

"Such a pretty Dress!" 06/14/12

This dress is very cute and flattering, I purchased the small (5 '6" 128) it fits perfectly just wouldn't want it to shrink at all. I thought about trying the Med in this but the straps would be to long and I'm not one to alter or sew my clothes so I'm sticking with the small, will just have to hang it to dry. I love the style of this dress!

"Beautiful Dress!" 06/08/12

This dress is beautiful and very flattering! I'm about 5 6" 128 Lbs and got the small, it fits perfect just wouldn't want to shrink it at all! I thought about trying the Med however the straps would be too long and I'm not one to alter clothes so I stayed with the small.

"Not for hour glass shapes!" 05/02/12

5'8" 130lbs 36B. I bought the medium. Very cute, soft dress. 95 percent organic cotton. Washes well on delicate cycle. This dress looks best on thinner, taller, smaller busted frames like myself. Very fitted through bust and waist, but forgiving in the thigh area. Bra does show some without cami underneath dress. love the dress!

5'2"; 125lbs; 36 c/d bust ~ wanted to love this tried a small & med and neither worked at all! So wanted to love it since we have some trips planned and thought a few of these would be perfect for travel. Maybe better for tall, skinny, smaller chested women?

"Super flattering--LOVE this dress" 01/03/12

This is the ideal summer dress! It's light, airy, and can be worn without a bra. I'm 5`6, 135 lbs and flat chested--I purchased a small but I think someone around my size with larger breasts could still pull off a small. The band of material hits at the smallest part of your body plus the material has a little stretch for an extremely flattering fit. Only downside to a solid color (I got the light blue) is that it gets a little stretched out after a day's wear but I think the print would definitely hide it. Wished I got a second one!

"Great dress depending on cut you get" 12/12/11

I have this dress in about 4 or 5 different colors/patterns. The older ones fit perfectly, but the most recent ones I ordered have unusually long straps. When sitting down the straps fall off my shoulders. Could easily be fixed by a tailor. It is a bit low cut but not inappropriate. Super comfortable.
