I have had this product for a year or so, and it has held up well. It is soft and has a nice fit, but I do think it is a bit thin, and it wears out fast and gets warn is specific areas like elbows.
Looks really good and it very flattering. Not good for any day that there is the least bit of wind, it goes right the jacket. Also not good for layering because of the high-pile fleece. It is nice as a casual fall jacket and is more for style than anything else.
I recently bought a similar "fuzzy" North Face but it shed horribly (mostly on my seat belt; the fuzzies would then transport themselves to anything else I wore). After just a few wears it was also matting. So, I wasn't happy. Thankfully I found this Patagonia fleece instead! It is soft and fuzzy, but the high-pile means it doesn't shed. Additionally, it hasn't matted so far, and even better, it's a lot warmer than the similar North Face jacket. The only downside I've found so far is that the neck is a bit stiff when zipped all the way. I also wish the pockets had zippers, but they're very deep so it's not a huge issue. Overall this is a great, cozy fleece.
I'm 5'8, 140 and ordered a Large. I have long arms and the sleeve length on this jacket is nice and generous, definitely long enough for me. Seems to be a slimmer cut thru the body, not necessarily smaller or tighter, just not an abundance of extra room/fabric/bulk, which is more flattering. I bought a similarly-styled fleece last year from the brand that starts with N and ends with Face, and it pilled even after I washed it by itself. The fabric on this Patagonia is a silkier fleece and it doesn't look to me like it will have pilling problems. Seems like a fleece that will last for the next million years or so.
"Great for light weather conditions, especially fall/early winter"

This jacket is pretty great for a fleece coat. It's kept me very warm during the on and off cold weather so far this year. The two downsides are the cream color does get dirty quickly, but it does wash off without any extra work, which I appreciated. The other downside is that there aren't any bungees around the bottom hemline like in some other fleeces. I bought a large and it isn't very tight around the hips even though it fits perfectly in other parts, just wish I could cinch it tighter. All in all, a great fleece for around town and light recreation.
