I have collected four of these vests over the last few years because I find them so comfortable, warm, and as stylish as a puffy vest can get. I like that it tapers a little at the waist to avoid the total boxy look of most down vests. The quilting of the jacket also prevents it from getting too puffy.. The "fur" in the hood is a very nice and subtle touch...and it's super soft. I haven't had any problems with zippers or the hood pulleys, and as always-Patagonia's quality is amazing. Very highly recommend. I am a Patagonia medium in almost everything-150 lb athletic pear shaped-and the medium fits great.
I love this vest. I ordered the dark blue/grey and I wear it all the time because it goes with everything! It fits pretty much true to size, but I'm flat chested and if I were more well-endowed it might be tight in the boob area. I love that it fits down to my hips and doesn't ride up if I bend over. The hood is also really warm and cozy! I convinced my sister AND my mom to get one for themselves.
LOVE this vest!! Its so cute, a little different, and best of all really warm and cozy!! I bought it in the white colorway and its oh so cute with just about any color wool base layer underneath and a pair of cords! It runs true to size. Seriously contemplating other colors to complete my apres ski wardrobe this winter!
I have had this vest for several months now and it is warm, cute, and machine-washable. Also, the hood is super-cozy. While the vest has some shaping, the fit is more boxy than some women's vests, which may be a consideration for some.
Bought this vest. Loved the plaid. It fit kind of funny, and though the hood is very cozy and lined with heavenly fleece-stuff, it fit awkwardly. I didn't find the hood or the cut of the vest to be particularly flattering on a tall, boobs/hips figure. Took it back.
