I got these for my wife, she's super hard to by pants for, this is about my 5th try i think and i finally got it right with these. she's pretty small about 105lbs but the waist fits great, and they even have tabs with snaps on the sides to make smaller if need be. they are a little long on her, but that's ok since they have the buttons towards the bottom to roll the legs up and its to be expected since she's pretty short. its hard to find pants in 0 size and some times the 0 in other brands are even to big for her. so glad to know we can now count on patagonia. she loves the color with the purple highlights.
I just received these pants and was surprised that they were very tight in the hips and waist. They were described as a “slim fit” and I’m generally a size 2 ( 5’4” 120lbs) but they were extremely restricting when I put them on which is obviously not ideal for backpacking. I also noticed they only went down to my ankle, which I didn’t prefer. I ended up calling Patagonia customer service to ask about the fit of their pants and they did tell me that as you go up a size the pants are made an inch longer. All of that to say I’m exchanging these for a regular fit pant in a size up. I’m sure they’re great pants that are made well, I’m just not so sure about the fit.
