"Amazing bra - feels like you're not wearing anything but still getting support"
Let me begin by explaining that I have a serious obsession with these crop top style sports bras. I have about 20 bras by several different designers. Underwire kills me and I like to know I am ready to run and play at a moments notice. This is my first one by Patagonia, and as these types of sports bras go, this is a pretty good one. Supportive, trendy and you don't feel like you will be stabbed by an underwire or pass out from the corset-like tightness. I have only worn it a few times so far and am hoping that unlike some of my other sports bras (which I do use from mountain climbing to swimming…) it doesn't start to sag at the top. So far so good though!Only recommendation is to get it in a size up. I am usually a S but got a M in response to other reviews and they were right on the money.Enjoy ladies!
Love this bra for lounging and being active--really comfortable and supportive! I would agree with the other comment that says buy a size up. I wear a 34 C and usually wear mediums in sports bras but am happy I got a large in this one.
Paired with the Patagonia Active Hipster, this bra completes a perfect set of undergarments. You can wear this as a light-support sports bra, underneath a sheer top, or just as an everyday bra. It has a double layer of supportive, stretchy, but not-too-tight fabric that hugs your body and moves along with you. The colors are wonderful as well. So many options. Buy one for every day of the week and don't forget the matching hipsters!
This bra gives lots of support without cutting into my neck. Good for high or low impact activity from trail running to yoga. All the patterns are super pretty and the material is super comfortable. The bottom band could use some reinforcement; not the best bra for someone who is particularly busty.
Stretchy, yet keeps everything in place. Soft. No awkward, itchy seems. Simple straps. Cute colors and designs are always a plus too. Perfect for everyday wear and, of course, for activities of all varieties. Need new a bra? This is the one you buy!
Patagonia knows where it's at. I'm 32 around and decided to go with the small. It was love at first wear! Great support and really breathable. I wear it rock climbing, running, hiking, and more. I had read the reviews before buying, and I won't lie, I was somewhat nervous to buy online because of sizing. Went in to the store and saw it, and now it's my favorite bra! Some might say it's a bit tight or the straps cut in to your shoulders, but honestly, mine fits me like a glove. I am thoroughly satisfied with this bra! This bra is DEFINITELY worth a try.
"Low impact use or smaller chested women"
There isn't too much support in this bra. I wear it backpacking but not running because of this. I am too lazy to take off my bra at night (especially when it is cold out and you know that you will just have to put it back on in the morning). Therefore I like something a bit looser. This is the one. It does have a life span though. My lasted two years and then got all pilly and itchy. That being said I wore it on two month long trip and a couple shorter ones, so it did its job reasonably well.
Ok I know sports bras are supposed to be tight, but when ou can't breathe it's a problem. Was thinking from reading the other reviews I should go for a size bigger and I went against my better judgement, now I'm in the exchange process.
