Rated 5 out of 5 by from This backpack is perfect for just about everything! I bought this pack this year because I needed a bag that could hold all of my school things and stay put while riding my bike through the city. It's perfect. The chest strap keeps my back feeling great even when I've got 20 pounds worth of textbook weighing me down! The front pocket with the vertical zipper is great for keeping spare gloves and snacks. The dual bottle holders on the side are super handy as well. I love having a built in laptop case and all of the organization pockets in the medium sized pocket. Overall, I think that this backpack is great for all of my day-to-day needs and can hold everything I need while still looking great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great everyday backpack, perfect for college I've put this backpack through a lot. As a college student, I've stuffed it with books and my laptop constantly. When riding a bike, this bag stays on your back very well. I've gone on day hikes with it, and it fits great with little strain on your back. Also, it's very waterproof. I've walked through snow, sleet, rain, you name it, and my stuff has stayed completely dry. The only thing I would worry about is that the small pocket right behind the neck can get some moisture in it if you get soaked, because it does not have a solid waterproof lining like the rest of the zippers. Otherwise, this bag is perfect. I may not buy a different bag ever again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from BEST BACKPACK EVER I love this backpack! I got the NorthFace "Jester" pack three years ago, and the bottom started ripping so I started searching for a new one. I was originally planning to go with the NorthFace brand again, but I've heard good things about Patagonia and loved the bright colors (green + turquoise = awesome) so I decided to give it a try. SO glad I did! The pack itself is a great size, and has all of these nifty pockets, including one for a laptop, which comes in handy for those using it for school. Also, the straps are super comfortable and take a lot of weight off my shoulders. Bottom line, this backpack and brand is super ballin' and you should definitely buy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Patagonia Refugio Pack I purchased this backpack for school. I have a 13" Macbook Pro along with other school supplies (the computer hookups, large binder, textbook, pencil case) that fits well for this pack. It is so comfortable on. The back is cushioned the straps fit nicely. Has soooo many compartments. Protects the laptop. Stays clean. I am in love with this. I was a user of LL Bean and Jansport since I've been a kid. Not anymore. I will use this backpack for the rest of my life unless it catches on fire in the middle of a hurricane and then some bum steals it, then I will replace it for the same style. This is certainly worth investing in.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love it - use this pack daily I love this pack - I use it every day. I am a mom (sorry, wish it was for a "cooler" purpose) and I can fit my water bottle on one side, sippy cup on the other side, wallet and kindle in the front pocket, diapers and wipes in the second, and everything else I have to have in the main pouch, and there are still other pockets! The top pocket is great for phone, keys, gum, etc. There are pockets within pockets everywhere. Color choices are great. Quality and material is great - I have used it for months and months and it still looks brand new. I can't imagine this pack not being a perfect fit for just about any use.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from excellent color combination + pockets = awesome basically, i think this bag is amazing. i've taken on a day adventure and it's lovely. it fit behind my seat in the kayak and held my pringles and quick-dry towel. the side tightening straps are nice to keep things together but get in the way of waterbottles in the side pockets. i think i might invest in a camelpak or something for the waterpouch inside--there's a hole for the straw! it's not heavy, easy to carry and can hold loads of stuff. also, they don't tell you this, but there's a survival whistle on the chest buckle! ok, maybe they do tell you, but i missed that part in the description. sturdy, sexy bag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Well Worth the Money. Just buy it already! This pack is incredible! I recently got the rockwall w/tan color. First off, the color is slightly different than the picture posted, in a good way! The color isn't gray but instead has a slight deep green color (especially in the straps). I am a student and can easily fit both my Macbook pro 15 in with case, study Bible (yeah you read that right.) or a couple of textbooks, a couple of notebooks and a couple moleskine journals. You can also easily fit all your computer accessories and other devices (aka mouse, external hard drive, ect). It is great. If you are thinking about getting it, just get it already!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Has not worn out yet! I have taken this bag through more then I like to remember going through myself. I used it as a missionary for two years carrying the bible and various other book materials through the atacama desert. I have used it for two more years in the tropical island of hawaii as I went to school. taken over 50 pounds of junk at a time, so much infact I compressed my spine and had to go to the hospital. ,, ,,,, And through it all it looks and works just like it did that first day. not a single tear or hole in it yet. (course now that I wrote this review its going to fall apart!),,,,Only complaint is that in the main pocket there is a tiny side pocket that dosent help at all and just gets in the way...
