"Incredible lightweight, comfortable, and functional shell!" 04/20/13
Couldn't praise this jacket more. Patagonia does it yet again with a quality jacket. Stuffs up ever so nicely into one of the pockets for easy packing just like most other Patagonia jackets. Combine this with a Nanopuff and/or R1 Fleece and you have yourself a nice jacket system that is versatile enough for any condition.
"Perfect jacket for rain or snow." 02/04/13
I got this jacket not knowing much about Patagonia's H2no fabric. Having owned various Patagonia articles and having been pleased with all of them, I trusted that the fabric would perform well. I had high expectations, but the Torrentshell has met and exceeded them. It's ability to shed water is pretty amazing. I wore it as an outer shell (over a Patagonia Cap4 Baselayer and the ArcTeryx Atom LT as a mid layer), during a recent ski trip and it repelled the wetness of falling in the snow (oops!) very well!
