Work at camp outside all day. Texas decided to freeze and rain 3 weeks in a row. I have the torrent shell which is amazing, but not warm. The Storm was an amazing purchase. It is super dry and super warm. The sleeves were super long and I was not a fan at first, but after synching at the wrists it fits good. The front pockets seem awkwardly high but still keep my hands warm even if they are higher up than a normal jacket. I got a Large at 5' 11" 165 pounds and it has plenty of room to layer for those cold days and nights. A medium probably would of done well too. Strongly suggest this product for anyone that is looking for a sturdy rain jacket that is warm. It's not light but it's heavy duty. Patagonia impressed me with yet another product.
"Fairly light weight and will keep you seriously dry"
At the price, this jacket is hard to beat. It's light weight, but works in a range of weather to keep you dry. I've used it in light and heavy rain and look forward to using it in light and heavy snow in a few months. Constructions seems solid and should last for a few years to come. Part of a later system it should be pretty awesome.
