I'm no fashion maven, just want max comfort. Have been looking for shorts that are actually short for a long time. And by short i mean 70's disturbing short! This product manages to deliver what i want while maintaining a good degree of modern respectability. Just ordered 2 more.
Great product and price. The only problem is I ordered them on March 3rd and got them on April 9th. I know I live on an island in Maine but I would think the a delivery to the Congo would be quicker. Anyway, love the pants.
By far the most versatile shorts out there. Strong not binding and super comfortable. Great for just taking a walk with the kids or on a trek in the woods. I have worn these for many seasons to find that they just keep getting better with time like a pair of broke in boots. They fit pretty true to size and are pretty short in the 5 inch version but if that's what your shooting for these are the shorts for you. You will find that it's hard to abuse these with the supper rugged canvas material but with washing will become soft. Five star get a pair and see for your self.
"These shorts have great, tough material but run very small"
I ordered the 34" mens waist for these shorts and they run very small. I had to order a 38" waist to even get them over my thighs. I have thick thighs and 10% body fat.The material and pockets in these shorts are awesome!
These are the alpha and omega of shorts. Tough enough for yardwork, nice enough for Easter Sunday, comfortable enough for lounging, and flexible enough for climbing. I have never seen a short with this much versatility. Throw away every other pair of shorts you own (except maybe some patagonia baggies) and buy these. You won't regret it.
Got them for hiking, use them for everything. My favorite tennis short, can fit a whole can of balls in a pocket. Comfortable for canoeing or kayaking, but do take a while to dry out. Older ones find their way to yardwork - last forever. Sizes run big. My wife thinks I buy them because it's the only way I can wear a 34.
these shorts are amazing. you may ask yourself, should i go with the 5 inch or the 7 inch? go with the 5's! i wear them all the time! just make sure your boxers arent too long or they will stick out the bottoms. i would tell any of my friends that they should get these shorts
Worn while backpacking in the Cascades; canoeing in N. Idaho, and dining with the in-laws in Seattle; these shorts can take it all and come out looking as good as I do (OK, better than I do). The material is strong wash after wash, it doesn't break down from extended uses and washes and looks great after a run through the dryer or air drying. I prefer the shorter inseam for greater range of motion while scrambling or getting in our out of the boat.
Honestly the greatest shorts on this planet. Doesn't really matter what you do, if you do it in these shorts you'll probably be better at it. The older they get, the more comfortable and better looking they get. Extremely durable, unless you dip, in which case you'll get some pretty significant fraying on your ass. Might be a little short for some folks over six foot, but a little summer sun on the nethers never hurt anyone.
