Rated 3 out of 5 by from You may need a belt I would like to say these pants are incredibly comfortable and they fit and flex great for hiking and spending full days climbing. They will handle moisture and you will also look fashionable all day on the rock. ,,,,The issue I have with these is that the button for the waist does not hold to securely. So if you wear a harness or a belt you are golden. Hiking Dolly-Sodds and every five minutes it would pop. I know what your thinking lay of the smores but thats not the case I am a rail and have wiggle room in these pants just the strength of button is weak and easily un snaps.,,,,Bottom line wear a belt or a harness

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Pants if you get them at retail. Amazing pants if you get them on sale Im 6' and weigh 160 lbs. I made the terrible mistake of getting 34s. should have got 32s and I regret that decision to this day. At work I move tables and chairs around and get pretty hot. These pants make a night and day difference in temperature below the waist. No more chub rub for me.had my coffee between my legs on them on the way to work and spilled it on them and it brushed right off (why they make cars with no cup-holders is beyond me). they dont resist ink stains very well however not many articles of clothing do. I wish they were a little narrower around the ankle or had tensioners down there so I could wear my NB minimuss without tearing up the bottoms.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Buy the pants I had been looking for a replacement pair for my REI hiking pants that have seen their share of miles. The Rock Craft Pant met and exceeded my demands, no question. I have not been let down by a Patagonia product. I wore these on a lake outing and got caught in a downpour, after the rain let up the pants were dry in ten minutes, no joke. Tried them out on the company picnic in humid 80+ degree temps and felt comfortable all day. Great product, strongly considering buying another pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight, true fit, and well made UPF protection pants. Expecting long life as it's Patagonia. Got this on sale so couldn't get my correct inseam. Had them shortened so no problem. It's very lightweight, true fit, and doesn't shrink. Dries quickly. I'm using them as SPF protection for my walks as I hate putting on lotions. I live in Hawaii and even during the day they're not too warm to walk in for an hour. Otherwise I really don't need long pants but they'll come in handy for travel to other places. they're a decent look so no problem wearing them out for any occasion.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Going to get a 3rd pair Really like these pants. The fit is spot on unlike a pair of Northface pants I got that were way too tight. They look great, lots think I'm wearing regular khakis, and are very comfortable with good stretch. I've been climbing with them for over a year now and they've really held up. Only complaint is the original pair I received came with a snap button on the waist that sometimes would pop climbing with a harness, but I always wear a belt so never really a problem.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great pair of pants. I have now worn these in the heat of Costa Rica and the spring rain of the Appalachians. They worked perfectly in both.,,,,The pants are lightweight and move with your body. When other people were stripping down to shorts because their pants were too warm I was feeling just right!! Nice zippered side pocket and I really like the design of the rear pocket flaps.,,,,I'd buy another pair!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The pants were exactly what I ordered and came on time I had purchased a pair of the Men's Rock Craft Pants a while back and wanted another pair in a different color. The stone color in the ad matched the actual color of the pants I received which is always a concern. I am thoroughly pleased with the quality of the pants which is why I ordered another pair.,,,,Sizing was spot on. A 34" waist 32" length was an exact fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, comfortable, light Great pants, light but block wind ok, breathable. Liked them so much, bought em in another color too.,,Crazy comfortable, stretch just enough. Good for hiking or climbing.,,The front pockets are a little annoying where they hold the stuff against your thighs. the back pockets are pretty secure. And the DWR is gimmicky not worth mentioning really.,,I love these pants
