If you’re looking for an eco-friendly, compressible, breathable, versatile fleece jacket, look no further than the Patagonia Men’s R2 Jacket. This jacket is made with 6.1 ounces of Polartec Thermal Pro fleece, which is a 64% recycled polyester/spandex blend, and weighs in at 13.1 ounces. Patagonia strategically placed Polartec Power Stretch panels along the sides of the body and arms, adding extra air flow, a closer fit and easier motion control, making the R2 an ideal layering choice when hitting the slopes. "Light Weight and thin but so warm as under layer." 02/22/13
I just bought this a couple days ago and it was great investment.I use it underneath of patagonia puffy Jacket and it works great.Light weight and thin layer helps to avoid looking bulky. Also, very soft fabric is super comfortable to wear.I was wearing it to a bar and I was offered to touch it by 5 different women already. The price is paid off already (it is a little pricy for this kind of fleece compared to other brand like north face or marmot).
"VERYGOOD" 01/18/13
I wear it as autumn clothes in a ski and mountain climbing mainly. The product of other companies lasts, but the temperature control by the top and bottom of the temperature thinks that this R2 is very superior.Anyway, it is a product wanting you to try it once!

"Great Jacket, Exceptionally soft and very easy to move around in." 10/08/12
Love this jacket, it is extremely soft on the inside and outside. It seems to help cut the wind more than you would think for a jacket of this weight. Word of advice, it is slim fitting, so if you are planning on wearing anything more than a l/s shirt underneath it I would size up one size.
"Sick Nasty" 04/05/12
This jacket is awesome. It's incredibly light weight and packs down small. Not to mention it breathes like a champ. Whether i'm walking to class or backpacking in the appalachians, I've always got it with me. I'm about 5' 10 and weigh in at 170 and the medium is perfect. You should probably buy this jacket.
"Great Jacket / Shirt to have" 02/06/12
The R2 is probably the most versatile piece from Patagonia that I own. It is my go to fleece, jacket. I wear it in the house and outside the house and choose it over all other pieces 75% of the time. I bought the Fennel color as it appeared to be less of a bright green than the gecko. Please realize though that the Fennel colored R2 is still VERY bright and not as close to a Kelly Green as you would think. You can't go wrong with an R2, just make sure the bright green is what you want.
"Soft and fluffy" 01/06/12
I bought this fleece because it's highly packable, lightweight and makes a great layer under a jacket or shell. The R2 is ridiculously soft, you'll find that chicks get can't enough of it, so get ready for some rubbin'. It loses a point for wind resistance, which is nearly nonexistent, but it doesn't claim to be wind proof so I'm just being picky here. My advice is to find a girl that likes how it feels (and they all do) and use her as a shield against the wind...a shell is also a viable option. The price is steep, but Patagonia makes great gear and is one of the more environmentally conscious companies out there, so you might be saving a fjord or some salmon by supporting them.
