The Patagonia Men's Piolet Jacket. The Piolet Jacket is for the outdoor enthusiast who does it all. The shell jacket, engineered with Gore-Tex Performance Shell uses the most durable nylon face fabrics available. The 2-layer construction uses a Gore-Tex membrane, which is bonded to the outer material and protected on the inside by a separate lining for better wear, greater comfort, and waterproof/breathable protection.

Surprisingly warm by itself and waterproof like a duck's...you know. Layer for a versatile winter system. Hood is fully adjustable, visor keeps the rain off your brow, and they say its helmet compatible...if you're into that. Has a slim fit through the chest to the waist while still allowing an impressive range of arm motion. My one complaint is the finely fuzzy fleece-like lining around the collar and near the mouth (when fully zipped) tends to hold a bit of moisture. Somewhat annoying but not enough to give this jacket anything less than a five out of five.
