Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best jacket ever? Pretty damn close! I love this jacket. After wearing it pretty much everyday in this year's mild northeast winter, I feel like I'm finally able to give some feedback. ,,,,1. Yes, it's warm. Stop asking! Actually, it does a great job at retaining your body heat, not at warming you up. So, be sure to put it on a few minutes before you go outside. Also, it can get TOO warm at times. Think of it like wearing a plastic garbage bag - you have to unzip it to vent it because it doesn't breathe. ,,,,2. How warm exactly? I feel like a rule of thumb would be that you're good with this jacket and a t-shirt above 32 degrees. ,,,,3. Downside? It's a little short, especially in the back.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Amazingly lightweight, great insulation, questionable durability For the weight, this jacket is unbeatable. Great fit, super comfortable - like crawling up in a comfortable sleeping bag all day. Stuffing the jacket into its own pocket hasn't worked out so well for me, but in a cheap, small compression sack it stows away quickly and easily. My only complaints are that the stitching between the insulation cells and around the elastic cuffs frays easily -- not enough to compromise the jacket, but enough to be noticeable; and the zipper tends to catch on the jacket unless you're careful. However - for the fit, style and insulation vs. size, the jacket is great. One of the best I've owned.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Kick butt bomber jacket This jacket is the most awesome lightweight warm jacket out there. I've had it now for a few months and have taken it hiking, climbing, and just around. It excels at everything except for harsh conditions, but that is why I have my shell to throw on over. It keeps me at a comfortable temp whether its 60 or 0 out. Just pull a sweater on underneath and it will keep you toasty down to chilly temps.,,,,For a size comparison, I am 6'1" 168 lbs and have the large. I was a little bit nervous that it would be baggy and wide at the waist, but it has nifty little cinch down drawcords on each side so I can adjust to my perfection. Oh, the wrist cuffs are perfect size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny I cried a little inside when I bought this one (cost), but I wanted to get a super light insulation layer that packed down small for backpacking. I ended up loving this jacket. It's become my favorite for anytime the weather is a bit colder. Have used it backpacking, snowboarding, grocery getting.. it's just awesome. The only flaw if it has one, is that the material is so light that it has shown signs of abrasion in the high wear areas, but I've had so many good days with this jacket I don't care. It has lasted and held up to some abuse and still keeps me warm even though it's light as a feather. Since it's not down it puts up with the WET pretty well too. Thanks Patagonia =)

Rated 5 out of 5 by from fantastic, almost life-changing product my nano puff is my new favorite piece of clothing. i finally caved and bought one after watching my sister wear hers for a long time now. the nano puff is incredibly versatile. i have worn it indoors when it is too cold for my liking. i have layered it underneath a warmer shell (or, in my case, the insulated powderbowl), and i'm more or less bombproof at that point. once winter is over, but it's still cool outside, i'll use the nano puff as my shell, with an R1 or something underneath. anyway, there are endless permutations.,,,,one personal note is that i far prefer the full zip nano puff. the zipper quality is fantastic, and eliminates the need to put it on over your head.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice but sizing is a bit of (at least for me) It's not big when it comes to bulk, but to size. I'm usually an L (185cm and 85 kilos) in every other piece of clothing I own, so when I ordered it I was very confident that L would be a good fit. I was really wrong, unfortunately, because I could easily have fitted into an M. Maybe a European L is closer to a U.S. M? Living in Norway it's too much of a hassle to deal with customs and whatnot to return it to Moosejaw for a refund, so I'll stick with it.,,Other than that it's REALLY lightweight, a bit thinner than what I thought it would be, but seems to be perfect for +/- 0C with a thin fleece. I would recommend it to friends, but tell them to try it on first to get the size right.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect light insulation for all conditions! Highly recommend it! Patagoina Rocks and the Nano Puff is no exception! Light, warm and tough! This is great as a performance peice layered under your shell and as a jacket around town! It folds away into the chest pocket with carbiner loop. It is easy to layer down when you heat up. The Nano Puff is one of my all time favorite peices. It is so comfy as well as high tech. I wore it 48 hours straight in a tight situation. It also dries fast and cleans easy. The cuffs close well and the collar is just the right height to keep weather out but not to mess with your chin or helmet strap. Ace Gear! You will love it!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's nano puffin awesome I haven't experience any really cold weather in this yet, but I don't see it being a problem. All day today it was cold and rainy and it doesn't repel much water, but none ever came through and it never lost its heat! I got synthetic fill this for this reason. The down tends to loose more heat when wet, and here in OK we get a lot more wet-ness in winter and its holding up rather well! Also it dries back out super fast once you get out of the rain. Its been great from mid 60's down to low 30's so far and i dont ever get too hot or too cold! Im extremely impressed with this jacket.
