"Never got to test drive this as it is not in stock despite the advertising"

You'd think that Moosejaw might want to to help me considering the $700 I was intending on spending on 4 jackets for the family.Overall, a very bad, needlessly prolonged experience:- For a start the advertised product (this parka) was not available despite being advertised. I discussed this item with service staff who never mentioned that they couldn't get this item. I was then belatedly advised that (oops) they don't have it all and can't get it.- refused to price match despite clearly stating that they do- hassles with credit cards even though I used their preferred method of payment despite my best judgment.avoid people. there are plenty of other, better, options.
So I got this jacket because I wanted something really warm that was one layer and was light weight. This jacket is it! I definitely won't be snowboarding or backpacking in it as its not very technical but its 600 fill down so its old school warmth and the outer layer is water resistant. I haven't had a chance to wear it out in the world yet because its still 50+ degrees in the North East, but if its as comfortable and good looking as it is warm then I will be fine.
