The Patagonia Men's Baggies Shorts are made from a quick-drying, water-repellent nylon, and have a casual fit and an elasticized waistband with internal drawstring. The Baggies also feature a polyester mesh lining, a rear snap pocket, and front pockets (with self-draining mesh corners) that are positioned to reduce drag in the water.

"So rad!" 06/05/13

Two pairs of these shorts just came in the mail, and I'm already so impressed. They aren't nearly as "too long" as some people complain them to be (I'm 5'6" and the smalls run just above my kneecaps) and the material is comfortable and lightweight. As always, Patagonia has used vibrant, unique colors that make these shorts more than just a piece of outdoor gear. I can see myself wearing these stylin' bottoms for years to come.

"Good fit" 03/21/13

Being short I always have a hard time finding shorts that are the right lenghth. I cannot stand shorts that go past my knees. Too often it seems that manufacturers make different sized waists but keep the same lenght of shorts, regarless of size. Patagonia does a great job of offering shorter lengths. I originally ordered a medium having slightly over a 30 inch waist, but with them being baggy I definetly needed a small and exchanged them hassle free from moosejaw.

"Pumped to get them" 05/07/12

So I have been looking at these for a super long time and I finally pulled the trigger. They are in shipping right now and on the way to me casa. I am going to the BVI's this summer and was looking for a comfortable on the go pair of shorts. These shorts will be great for swimming,climbing, and looking awesome. Thank you moosejaw.com

"Perfect Shorts for... Everything" 12/22/11

I have been very surprised with these Baggies. They are in fact "baggie", hence the name, but they arestill sized appropriately -- meaning that I am a large with normal shorts and fit into a large pair of Baggies just fine (just have to tie the drawstring if I am carrying things in the pockets or in the water). The waist is not very elastic but elastic enough to stay around your waist. Due to this, the shorts are very, very comfy. Would buy again!

"Super comfy! great to free ball in. do it all shorts" 11/25/11

Got a pair of baggies over a year ago and they have been the best pair of shorts I have ever owned. I wear them while im hiking, sleeping, fishing, disc golf, and everything else you can think of. They are great for anything that involves water because they dry incredibly fast!! bottom line is they are great for anything from making a pb and j to doing a a weekend camping trip. get some fast!!

"The Bees Knees (and favorite pair of shorts)" 08/20/11

I flippin love these shorts. Most comfortable thing I've ever put on the lower half of my body. I raise a virtual toast to my favorite shorts of all time. Heres to comfort, style, and durability! CHEERS!

"Durable and dependable (and they double as swim trunks too!)" 05/06/11

These shorts are awesome, bottom line. I've taken them climbing in the Red and as my unofficial lifeguarding shorts. They're a little on the heavy side, but they make up for it in their versatility and durability. There's also a swim netting built in so freeballing is totally acceptable (haha but no thats never acceptable). Just buy the shorts if your looking at them, you'll thank yourself later.

"The Perfect Short" 02/02/11

These shorts a super comfy. I took em' on a 115 mile backpacking trip through new mexico and absolutely loved them. They've got deep front pockets and a nice button clip back pocket to hold anything. These short's are definitely favorite short for climbing, running, or anything else and I strongly recommend them to anyone.
