"Solid Pack" 05/12/13
Researched for a pack to do the Camino in Spain---500 miles @no days off, 18 pounds gear --yes, I am going...did a day trip check out. Comfortable unit, adjustable everywhere, tons of pockets--stash area's--did not get rained on, so did not field test included cover. NICE LOOP set up for tent or pad, nice bottom compartment for tent---bottom line--SOLIDPACK
"extremely comfortable and useful pack for the money" 03/26/13
i recently got this as a christmas gift this past year. honestly, best pack i've owned. its comfortable as anything, holds a ludacris amount of gear, no unnecessary straps or anything. I just cant say enough good things about it. I'll review more about it after this puppy gets really put through its paces this spring
"Awesome Pack!" 03/18/13
I got this pack this past christmas and i love it. really rugged and sturdy. it holds an amazing amount of gear. the built in rain cover is brilliant and easy to use, holds hiking poles easily, water bladder, etc. great buy for the money. Its extremely comfortable, even after an all day hike. its just a real versatile pack and anyone who gets this pack will absolutely love it.
"awesome backpack" 02/20/13
they really thought through this backpack when they made it, i am still finding pockets that are so useful! Using this backpack to hike through Europe for 10 days and it fits everything! Not to mention it is super stylish and comes in great colors. Definitely a great buy and great quality! also very comfortable!
"id live in it if i could" 12/10/12
I absolutely love this pack, I just got into the Osprey brand two years ago and I'll never go back. The integrated rain fly is one of the best features on it along with being able to find enough in it for a few days in the summer. Just wish the straps would fit my thermarest pad.
"Complete package, trustworthy" 11/19/12
Rainguard and trekpole loops are there when you need them. Perfect for an overnight hike, or stuff the heck out of it and you can do a 5 day summer trip. I've overpacked many times and it shows no wear, the zips and materials take abuse. If packed modestly I feel comfortable MTB with it, not too cumbersome. Side pockets and bottom opening are a must, belt pockets are a convenience. The top organizational pockets you will find handy, but unusable if you over-stuff the main compartment. A downside is that the hydration bladder needs to be put in before packing otherwise you cannot get it in. Can't get my sleeping pad rolled tight enough for the bottom straps, but easily be affixed otherwise.
"Perfect size and fit" 11/12/12
I think the most important thing with a pack is that it fit you correctly. Everyone is a different shape. With that said, if that pack fits you correct then get ready. I have had this guy for 5 years now and have taken it everywhere from backpacking, climbing, to traveling through central america. I consider this to be the perfect size backpack. For light multi-day backpacking theres nothing better. For me its honestly all about the fit. I am comfortable hauling around any size load. For traveling it was awesome because there were many pockets that were easy to get to but at the same time it was easy to throw on top of a van or bus.
"The Best Extended Weekend Pack" 10/03/12
I have had this pack for 4 years now, and I have never even considered buying another pack. It's lightweight, has plenty of room for a 4-5 day trip, and has so many great features! The hip-belt pockets are fantastic for snacks, maps, or cameras, and the stow-and-go pole loops are fantastic. It has plenty of pockets to separate different types of gear. One of the best features, too, is that it comes with a rain fly so you don't have to purchase a separate one. Also, it comes with Osprey's amazing warranty, which came in handy for me this year. One of the clips broke on my hip-belt, and Osprey sent me a replacement no questions asked. I love this pack and would recommend it to anyone.
"Great pack for weeklong trips" 08/27/12
I've used this pack for multiple week long trips into the Rockies and it has been a pleasure to use so far. Designs down to the zippers are well thought out and the built in rain fly is great to have in a pinch. It's light, stable and really gets you thinking about the gear you need and the gear you can live without.
