The Osprey FlapJack Courier is a padded shoulder bag for dragging your laptop and tablet from place to place. The flap-style pack hides and secures items on the inside as you race to work on your bicycle or the bus. The exterior stash zipper holds onto your phone and keys so they don't fall out of your pocket on the way. Flip the flap over and unzip the main pocket to gain access to the padded 15 inch laptop sleeve and separate tablet sleeve, a document sleeve, and front organizer. Included are three different colored webbing straps, because why wouldn't you want to change the bag to have it match your shoes? Or shirt, whatever.

FEATURES of the Osprey FlapJack Courier

  • Adjustable padded shoulder strap
  • Low profile top carry handle
  • Organization pockets
  • Reflective graphics and blinker light attachment
  • Side water bottle pocket
  • Top zippered slash pocket

Please note that the info provided above refers to the torso size each pack will fit, and NOT any dimensions of the pack. Below are some steps for how to get your torso length. You should probably have someone help take this measurement for you so it is accurate. And they might accidentally touch your butt.

• Start at the iliac crest, which is the top of the hipbones on the side of your body. These act like a shelf for supporting a pack hipbelt.
• From this level on your spine, measure to the C7 vertebrae, the knobby bone at the base of your neck when you put your head down.
• Make sure you keep your back as straight as possible while measuring.
• This torso measurement determines what size Osprey pack you should carry. Refer to the size charts above to find your ideal size.
• If you are in between sizes, it is ideal to try them both on before ordering.

• Measure around your hips at your iliac crest, NOT your waist.
• A properly fitted hipbelt rides centered over the hipbones and needs to be very snug.
• The padded portion should wrap well around your hips, leaving a gap of 3 to 6 inches between the tips of the both hip pads when securely tightened.
• Refer to the Hipbelts size chart above to help determine your ideal Osprey pack size, but again, your torso length is what should determine your pack size, NOT the hipbelt.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great messenger bag! My wife and I just had our first baby. As my wife's dedicated pack mule, I knew that I'd end up being the one who carried whatever diaper bag she decided on. I couldn't stomach the idea of carrying a bag labled "Petunia Picklebottom" or "Diaper Dude", so I convinced her to let me get one that we could use for something other than diapers when the time comes. Luckily, she obliged, so I talked her into this bag. I'm glad I did. ,,,,The build quality of the bag is tremendous. I really like the easily-adjustable shoulder strap. We've already stained it a couple of times, but the stains came out very easily. It's big, but not too big. Basically the perfect size for all of a baby's gear while going out to run errands or a visit to the grandparents.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The murse you aren't embarassed to wear I used this on my winter ski trip to Japan. As a carry on it held my laptop, DSLR, passport, and chargers for all. It was comfortable enough to wear as a camera bag walking around for hours on end in Tokyo and large enough to fit "just one more" souvenir. The padding on the back side of it really helped keep the laptop from digging into my kidneys and the quickly adjustable shoulder strap was awesome. There are enough small pockets and pouches to put all your random assortment of whatever. ,,Love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome bag for business and pleasure I use this bag every day for work and it is awesome. I bought the Blue Smoke color and it is true to the picture. There is a lot of room in this bag. You can easily carry a laptop, tablet and other business essentials. The padded laptop sleeve is nice and it keeps your computer protected from whatever else is in your bag. There are two separate zippered pockets under the flap for smaller items like pens, phones, chargers, snacks, ect. It is nice to have theses in their own space so you do not have to dig though the big section for everything. There is also a small zippered pocket on the front of the bag for anything you might want quick access to. The strap is wide and comfortable and has a little bit of grip to help it stay on your shoulder. Overall this is a super nice bag that looks great and gets a ton of use.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Nice looking pack but could be refined I use this bag for commuting and business trips, carrying a laptop and other small personal gear. I need a pack that fits in with motorized transport and biking. It has ample interior pockets and dividers and padding inside to accommodate a computer. One area for improvement would be more easily accessible exterior pockets. The one pocket on the flap is very small and hidden under the handle to access. If the zipper for this was lower and utilized the full length of the flap it would be way better. Also, I like to have quick storage for a thin document or periodical without opening the pack. A sleeve pocket on the rear could do this. Also the strap adjuster is right where my wrist is. It actually chafes my wrist or gets popped open by my hand while walking. But, perhaps the most annoying feature are the large velcro straps under the flap. When you are in a meeting there is no way to rip open the flap quietly to access the inside. Every time I need to get in the pack its RIIIPPPP! I get it that it is nice for the flap to sort of seal automatically if it isn't buckled, but perhaps this could be done with small magnets or you force consumers to use the buckle.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do not Buy This! I have been a longtime Osprey fan. I have owned the Astro and multiple Flapjack Courier bags over the years. When a new version of a bag that was nearly perfect came out, I bought it immediately to check it out. All the cool features the bag had, were taken out. The oversized foam handle that made carrying the bag very easy, was replaced with a cheap cord handle. The pocket on the front flap that made it easy to store your keys, cell phone, or wallet, taken out. They pocket was placed on the new version under the handle on top and it is nearly impossible to get to it or to put anything in it. The interior of the previous version had mesh pockets and an interior place to store a water bottle. It also had the ability to store one on the outside. This new bag has no mesh pockets, no interior bottle storage and to be honest looks kind of cheap on the inside The closures and zippers on the previous version had a toughness to them. You knew they were made to last. This version has zippers that you would see on any other low end laptop bag. Finally they used bright orange material on the inside of the bag and the other versions were a bit more subtle with the fabric used. It looks like they cut back in a major way on the quality of this bag. I am just bummed!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome bag! This is a really good bag. Good organizers inside with lots of space to put anything like lunch bag and documents inside. The flap is flexble so it can be either low profile or can fix stuff when you need to. The one best thing I like is the little hidden water bottle holder at the side, it protects your water bottle by not exposing it by using the strap to protect and hide it. I toss my bag around and I hate my water bottle getting beat up. The shoulder strap is really good keeping evenly distributing the weight on your shoulder. The strap have a curve design that is really comforting compare to other strap I've used. Like all other things there are some cons for it. The zippers nylon pulls are bad in quality, hard to grip(hard to hold on to while zipping). The zipper nylon pulls looks cheap. I cut them off and placed them with other off market zipper pulls and I love the bag way more. Also, if you have animals this bag is a hair magnet, I have to use the roller thing to tool it once in a while because the animal hairs are soooo obviously on the bag. There organization capability is quite a lot better than these other couple hundred dollar ones. I would strongly recommend this bag because of the design(function-wise) and quality(exclude zipper pulls) of this bag! Hope it helps
