"Heavy !, but absolutly worth the peace of mind !!"  09/26/10

This biner is great ! I was given two of these my by climbing mentor to try out on a trip to Hocking Hills State Park in Ohio a couple weeks ago and there great. I used them opposite and opposed as a pair to connect some top roped climbs and there amazing. you have to be careful not to hook aluminum into steel but its worth the weight in your pack for day trips and situations where you can afford some luxury weight. the rope slides through these when used as a pulley for a top rope setup fantastically, and they allow for easier belaying as well because the ropes slides easier, and the gate is easily operated with one hand as well, for me and my buddies. Great product !
