This is a pretty average biner. The angled gate gives more clearance so its easier to use. Overall good product.

Omega makes a great product in general. I like the colors.... But these are great carabiners for belaying and are super solid, thrown them across gyms and they've been fine.

"Awesome carabiner"

Use one of these for belaying with an ATC-style device, it's awesome. Perfect size for belaying, lightweight, feels good, screw-lock actually turns easily! It's the first carabiner I've ever used where the gate is angled so it opens a little bit wider than usual. The color of the biner is a little more gold than the picture. I would be all over one for whatever you might need.

Got this for my girl as a biner for her primary. Little smaller than the Big Jake she has for her belay biner, but the opening is about the same. Locks smoothly and reliably. Very good product.

"Love this beaner"

Fantastic beaner. I picked a couple up the other day and found myself in the hose tower at work, practicing rope rescue techniques. (I'm a fire fighter). Found them quick and easy to manage with one hand. Even noticed a difference with the slightly larger opening. Wonderful beaner. I'll be getting a couple more and making these my primaries on my harness for the high angle rescues. (now I just need some hottie to get stuck on the side of a high-rise).

"Great for Whitewater Kayaking"

I use them for whitewater kayaking for rescue purposes and for keeping gear secure in my boat. Open huge when I need to set up a z=drag fast and are super lightweight. So light you can clip one on to your pfd and forget its there.

"Biggest gate opening for a small biner! Strong!"

Best caribiner ever! Love the gate opening to the side! There is no better rappelling carabiner out there. A definate must have for rescue work as well. Omega make the strongest, affoable carabiners out there. See ya on the rock!

This biner is amazing, since the gate opens at an angle you can really stuff a lot of gear onto it at once. found that out rappelling with a double munter-hitch!
