I treated my boots with this product before spending 3 days in the Adirondacks. The weather was warm, wet and slushy during most of the hike. Boots stayed dry until about halfway through day 2 (approximately mile 10) when they started to "wet in". Even after wetting in, my feet didn't feel moisture for the rest of the hike. 3 days later, the boots are still wet and they have been sitting in a cool dry house ever since the end of the hike. I would probably use it again.
This product is great. It is like a sheild for r boot. The water just runs right off of them. It helps porlong the life of your boot. If you are buying a nice boot. Please by this product. You will thank me later.
I used this on an older (but my favorite) suede asolo hikers & it literally protects like a shield. water rolls right off the surface. i'd recommend it to anyone, whether your boots are new or old, this is the maximun protection to increase the longevity of your boots!

Wow, this stuff is amazing. I dripped just a little on an old vinyl floor while I was spraying two pairs of boots. Wiped it up right away, but the area I wiped is slicker than a skating rink. It's really pretty cool and I don't doubt that it's going to help keep my new boots dry and looking good.
I have the Scarpa Mustang boots. I treated the boots before I went on my last trip. They worked flawlessly. My feet stayed dry even when walking through several streams. The product is water based so it didn't screw up the look of the suede which is nice. Furthermore, it is ideal for goretex boots, it doesn't effect the breathability which in my opinion is crucial! Also the technology of the product getting to and through the needle hole and seems is solid.

We purchaed the spray applicator style instead of the sponge applicator because of concerns about the product darkening the tan color of my boots. It is much easier to control product quantity with spray. NO PROBLEMS. No noticeable color change. Water is beading off my boots like water off a ducks back!

This is a a nice improvement to the oil based alternatives I've used on my boots in the past. The oil based products always seem to be a dirt and dust magnet. This stuff does the job without leaving the oily residue.
Amazing product! Goes on easily and really works. It kept my suede boots looking like new after trudging through the salty, snowy mess of weather we've been having.
