"These are the best sunglasses I have ever purchased." 03/05/13
I love these native silencer polarized sunglasses, I have had all types of sunglasses in past from costa to wiley x , ray ban, none even come close to these, they are great in all points, no other brands even compare to these fit my face great do not fog up very clear and stand up to very harsh conditions, best money I have ever spent, I will never buy any more sunglasses other than the native silencer they are by far the BEST OF THE BEST.
"My favorite sunglasses, but seem to be getting cheaper." 10/03/12
I've owned these sunglasses for about 5 or 6 years. I'm on my third pair exchanged through the Native warranty program and they seem to be getting cheaper. The quality is dropping, but I still really like them. They fit me well and I wear 7 1/4 hat size.
"See through clothing with these!!!" 05/23/12
OK, not really. But they're still amazing sunglasses. I have a medium profile, and they grip securely and comfortably. I'm not worried about losing them while hiking, bouldering, driving, or propping them on my head to look cool in public. The frames are vented, so I've rarely had trouble with them fogging up. Switching lenses takes some getting used to (I was initially worried I'd snap the lenses in half) but is easier with practice. Visibility is ridiculously clear. I haven't had an issue with lens damage (one small scratch during a basketball game when they hit the pavement), but I use both the cloth bag *and* the reinforced carrying case.
"Way comfortable and breathable" 08/29/11
These are by far the best sunglasses I've ever had. They fit like a glove, block the sun entirely, breathe awesome and all the while I can't even tell I have glasses on. I bike and play volleyball and disc golf, among other physical activities, and these things never fall off my face...and believe me I DIG for that volleyball. They never fog up, and they stay on my head when I take them off my face, even while I'm active. They are definitely built more for people with smaller heads so for those of you who have oversized melons, move on to a different pair of natives. But trust me...stick with natives and you won't be disappointed.
"Love, love, love these sunglasses!" 06/10/11
I've always had prescription sunglasses, so my choices were few. Recently I moved from glasses to contacts, so it was time for a good pair of "regular" sunglasses. I came across these and was sold on the polarized lenses, 2nd set of sport lenses, and the lens quality.I couldn't be happier with these! I have an oval face, and these fit perfectly. Some reviewers make it sound like you need to have a freakishly thin face for these to fit, but that's not the case.
"Great shades for the smallish face..." 04/14/11
I was super psyched to get these new shades. Unfortunately for me, I didn't try them on first. They're a great looking set of eye protection; the frames are great, lenses perfect, and the padding soft and comfy. Then, I put them on my face. I'm not a super big guy, but apparently I have a big face. These shades are small...wearing them for a bit, I definitely felt a good amount of pressure behind the ears. If you have a smaller build or a narrower face, these would be awesome. Ah well...it's prolly a good rule to try before you buy. As aways, Moosejaw customer service is great and I was able to get a different set that fit better. Holla!
"I absolutely loved my Silencers that I bought back in 2005- But the new model is literal shit-" 04/13/11
I used to love these guys, in fact I used silencers for six years now, which is why i'm pissed by their pathetic customer service. I've been on the phone with them for a month, e-mailing them for three weeks, and sent them my shades two weeks ago. Why? The new "sport flex" lenses don't fit the frames, and they don't have a problem with that. Today they called me and informed me there "was nothing they could do" about my problem. They have no problem selling these shades at full price, knowing that they're defective and giving you the finger if you say anything about it. This has been my worst customer service experience. My advice: avoid native indefinitely, they'll treat you like shit-
"Lenses scratched in case" 04/12/11
I have always taken good care of my sunglasses. Within a couple weeks of buying the main polarized lens became scratched within the factory case. I then purchased a replacement pair of polarized lenses and had the same exact problem within a few weeks. Too bad I couldn't keep the lenses from scratching because these were the most comfortable sunglasses I've ever had. I repaced with smiths and no more lense problems.
"Buy them more than once." 03/29/11
I've had three pairs of these over the last 4 years or so. I've skied/climbed/fished/flown Alaska in them and they have been awesome. The polarized lenses are nice for spot fishing. They protected my precious little retina's and other various eye parts while deployed to the Middle East. The polarized lenses are nice for spot fishing. I lost a lens at the beach and I just bought a new pair and then an ammo box fell on those and it was new pair time. I totally don't like having spent the money, but I like the glasses and the glasses have been good to me. If you buy them, you'll be glad you did.

"They are so good, I bought them again!" 10/11/10
I've had this model of sunglasses for close to two years now, and then lost them! When it came time to look for a new pair of sunglasses, nothing measured up to the Silencer. I like how my new ones have the engraved Native logo painted Silver, makes it stand out nicely. I was not sure at first how I would like the lens color (compared to my old blue-ish tinted ones), but they are great to look at and even better to look through! I find myself taking them off and being disappointed with how the world looks without them on (at least while outside!)
"These sunglasses are superb!" 09/23/10
I picked these glasses up the other day and I can't take them off. These glasses are so light in weight that you forget they are on your head most of the time. And they also keep it bright outside; they even brighten up a cloudy day!ES
