"Funky fit" 12/06/09
I love Native sunglasses, but these fit a little funky for me. The size fits my head well, but the nose pads do not sit snugly on my nose as most Native glasses do. The optics are good and the design ventilates well as all of their glasses do. Maybe I got a defective pair?
"FInally something my husband won't break!" 08/19/09
Last year we went through seven pairs of sunglasses in two weeks at the beach (yes...one every other day)....whether they were swept out to sea while playing in the surf, fell over the side of a boat while fishing, or snapped in half by the kids, we could not get a pair of glasses. They arrived today only to be mauled by the toddlers and survived. The Natives also do not fall of the face and don't make him look like a total tool. great product!
"all around favorite" 10/22/08
This is my fourth pair of the Ignitions. I use these on the river as a whitewater raft guide and I can't wear anything else. They fit amazingly on smaller framed heads. You can also get them in a variety of colors/lenses and they are all polarized. Get some!
"worth the price for everyday sunglass wearers" 08/06/07
so far, so awesome... still lovin native eyewear's nose bumpers - very comfy. style factor is high. ocean tested this weekend - polarization is perfect! these super cool shades also double as a very expensive headband that keeps my hair out of my face when i'm at work.
"mmm.... still searching for the perfect matchup of asthetics and performance in sunglasses." 06/08/07
I like the way the glasses look appearance wise - which for my fickle face is half that battle. The fit is nice and snug so I don't have to worry about them taking flight on me during my active pursuits. However, once I took them out of the store and started wearing them in the 'field', I was surprised that the lens quality is not the greatest. I get refraction on the inside of the glasses - i.e. reflections off my own face - which generally I see enough of my mug each day and don't need further check ups. I think I recall that there was another type of polarized that Native makes and was wondering if the lens quality is higher with those.
