"Being without my Monkeyman would be like meatloaf without the meat or sugar free licorice. I sport mine on most mild winter days, and when I'm boardin' or playin' out in the elements and it is cold as hell, I love it as a mid layer under my Gore shell. It makes the coldest of winter days bearable and the slow, windy rides up the lifts a joy. "Second one!" 03/21/13

I loved the monkey fleeces so much I had to replace the black half zip one that I had. They don't seem to make the 1/2 zip anymore, so I went with the full zip. Love the feel, especially nice after a workout in the cold weather. The full zip allows me to use it more as a light jacket versus the 1/2 zip that I wore more as a sweatshirt. After several years of use the black 1/2 zip became matted at the elbows. I still use it for active wear but keep this new one for wearing out.

"BUY THIS JACKET." 02/26/13

I was looking for a great, warm, not bulky jacket...this is the guy. I got this jacket, and haven't taken it off! It is so soft, and all the ladies will want to rub up on you for this reason.

"Everything you've ever wanted!!" 02/04/13

This jacket is pure genius: Soft, yet durable, the long arms let you cover your hands and stay extra warm. I love the inside of the jacket being the same as the outside. I have had my jacket for almost 2 years and it's still soft enough that the ladies love to feel it. Makes for a great pillow as well! Just be careful how often you wear a pack with it because the back will start to mat down.

This jacket is awesome! Super comfortable and chicks always ask if they can wear it when they are cold because it looks so warm, fits great too. I'm 6'2" 185 and I bought a large. I give it two thumbs up like the fonz

"This product went above and beyond my expectations!" 12/20/12

The jacket was just as advertized. Very soft and extremely warm. It shipped in 3-4 days and came in its original unopened packaging. One issue I was worried about was the color, but the shade of gray came exactly as pictured. I had no problems whatsoever and love my new jacket!

"Bought this for the length." 12/20/12

So I'm a chick, and I bought this even though they make a women's verions, of which I own 3. I wanted this one because I like to wear longer sweaters in the fall and winter months sometimes and I need a longer fleece for stylish reasons. This one sits well around my rad bad behind. Instead if up at my waist. That's all. No difference in style from mens to womens other than it is longer at the waist and in the sleeves.Pluses: Longer than that womens, zippered pockets, hoodless, warm, stylish an soft.Minuses: Mine melted on teh interior a bit in the dryer. -First time I've ever had that happen to a fleece.

"Warmer than expected" 12/02/12

Great product. I usually wear a Marmot Windstopper jacket most of the time, and this jacket might cause me to leave that one in the closet more often. Very warm and a good fit make this a must have for the cooler days in Louisiana. The ladies love to nestle up to you as well.

"My wife is a genius for ordering me this!" 10/30/12

Not only is this jacket perfect for the mid-atlantic temperatures but the jacket was delivered in the middle of Hurricane Sandy and was put to immediate use! Perfect mid-layer underneath a rain coat but has performed nicely the day after as we survey the damage. Love that my wife wants to snuggle up to me now. The petting of the monkey phur is pretty sweet too.DONT HESITATE! THIS MAY GIVE MARRIED MEN A CHANCE!

"Sell Grandma to get it" 10/19/12

This is the softest fleece I've ever owned. Wearing it makes cuddling up to rusty nails and broken glass comfortable. It's warm too, so if those nails and glass have been sitting in the fridge, you still won't mind.Seriously, I doubt this is actual polyester fleece. I'm sure that somewhere in an alternate dimension filled with happy feelings and rose-smelling unicorn poop, there's a hairless magical baby seal wondering where his fur went. "I didn't drink THAT much last night," He'll think. "WTF? Y'know, I bet Gary took it. I always hated Gary."So, yes, sell Nana to the circus and buy this. She won't blame you. She has a thing for the trapeze anyway.

"Warm, functional, and stylish." 09/18/12

The fleece is very comfortable and keeps you quite warm. This jacket works great by itself of layered with a windbreaker. It fits quite well, I haven't had much of an issue of wind going up the bottom of it. This jacket is durable - besides using this as a day to day jacket, I've taken this jacket on numerous hikes, kayaking, and even caving once and never had any significant damage. The only downside is after about 3 years of heavy use, the fleece starts to thin out and the jacket loses some of its warmth. However, I'm still satisfied enough with its performance to replace my original Monkey Man jacket with another.

"Good jacket, but shows wear and the fit has changed" 09/07/12

The warmth to weight ratio is a winner and it's a great on the trail or the sidewalk. The material is unique. It's as soft and warm as any light jacket you'll ever wear. 2 issues: 1 - you have to maintain the jacket to keep it looking nice. Wash and brush it (yes, brush it) regularly. 2 - This is my 3rd Monkey Man and the arms are now significantly longer than they were before. This time the arms are probably 2 inches longer than the other two same-sized Monkey Mans of the past. So if this is a replacement, prepare for a different fit in the arms. Perhaps good for some - for me it was not as the material already has a tendency to bulk up around my wrists.
