The Hunker Down Vest is a great and lightweight down vest that will keep you warm and is packable. It has plenty of pockets (5 pockets) compared to TNF Nuptse vest.(2 hand pockets) that I owned. A great vest for the recreational hiker, or trendy urban wear!

I bought last year's version of this vest for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it! Very warm and comfy and he loves to wear it when he's working outside because it keeps his core warm but there aren't sleeves to get in the way. The only problem we ran into was the length. He's a tall lanky dude so the medium fit him perfect by width but the large fit him better in length. He's probably close to six feet. We ended up choosing the medium because the large swallowed him, although you can tell the medium is just a little too short. So, you tall lanky men out there might run into this problem. Otherwise a great quality vest!!
I recieved this product from Moosejaw about a few weeks ago and I am very pleased. The fit and finish are great and the inner liner is super comfortable. The pockets are lined as well which is a nice added touch. I really love the size of the chest pocket, great for a wallet or iPhone. Performance is great too, I was very happy with the level of warmth it provided. Around the shoulders the addition of thicker fabric is nice when carrying a pack. The stuff sack is nice, nothing overly special but convienent for storage and packing. I think this was a great value for the price and I am looking forward to years of service.
My favorite part about this vest is that it doesn't skimp on the fleece lining. It is around the collar so if you zip it all of the way up it doesn't irritate your neck/chin. Also, the pockets are lined on both sides. This vest is not overly puffed either. you could probably still wear this under a larger jacket.
