I like this tent so much, I bought it twice. After losing one on a trip last fall that I had used for 5 years, I replaced it with the same tent. The zip out roof panel is great for starry nights or hot desert camping. When you put the fly on, it becomes a great cold weather tent that has kept me dry for many rainy nights. The latest version has some nice updates including a easier to attach fly and better poles. I also like that there is plenty of room for two people plus a good amount of gear. It's a little heavy for backpacking, but it is perfect for car or boat camping. It is also super easy to set up.
I've spent a lot of time in this tent the past 2 years. Even lived in it for a couple months last summer and it stood up to the abuse. The fly is super roomy with enough room for gear on either side. Love how the inside zips open so you can watch the stars and feel the breeze. It has good ventilation and is easy to set up in the dark, with only 3 poles that are magnetic. I cut a piece of TyVek for the footprint and that has worked great! My dog, Tiki, loves it too. She's often the 3rd person ;) It's a little heavy for backpacking, weighing out at 8 lbs but works great for canoeing, kayaking or car camping.

I've got the previous version of this tent and love it. I have used this tent every month for the past year and a half without ANY problem at all. The more I use it the more I learnhow versitile it is. In the winter you can draw the fly almost completely down to the ground and cut off the wind and stay suprizingly warm, in warmer months you can raise the fly up and zip out the entire ceiling panel for all the breeze you want. This thing is extremely well built, I've had it pitched in all kinds of weather and have been the envy of the group, wind has folded a couple completely over to the ground and another woke up soggy while the inside of my Hammerhaed 3 was dry as a bone!
