Rated 4 out of 5 by from Solid lightweight down jacket and a great value I got this jacket to tackle the Missouri winter when my heaviest jacket was a North Face Denali. This jacket kept me warm (with layers underneath) down to about 0 degrees. Its no Arctic Parka but for the weight and price its an incredible value. Being reversible makes it versatile and the front Napoleon pocket is super convenient for keys and other small items. Like many down jackets, be careful because the shell is fairly delicate and will tear. I tore the jacket elbow after a week. I Because of that, its the only thing holding me back from 5 stars. If they still have this jacket in your size, go ahead and get it, you wont regret it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very warm but a few gripes Very warm! I've worn it around town and I've kept toasty. The fit is athletic with a good taper to the waist and the zippers don't get caught in the fabric (a common problem). There's lots of pockets that are still usable when the jacket is either way. But it ain't perfect. First, all those pockets aren't lined. On the quilted side the zipper is "backwards" (shuttle on the left). That takes some getting used to. I've also had some down leak and the under arm on the smooth side tore in about a month. I originally bought this to go under a shell, but it's a little too bulky. If you want to layer it you may need to go down a size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product I just unwrapped this jacket and wore it to work this morning and it is even better than I imagined! First of all the fit is excellent. I am hella skinny (5'11" 130Lbs) and the small fits me perfectly; It's not so baggy that I'm swimming in it and it's not so tight that I couldn't layer underneath if I wanted to. Secondly, it was 36 degrees (F) outside and I was super warm all the way to work. Also, this jacket is (in my opinion) very stylish and totally appropriate for my corporate business "workin' for the man" office job. I have a climbing trip coming up so I'll put it through it's paces then, but I have no doubt that it'll work really well! Buy this jacket!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect down jacket. Seriously? Can this get any better? I was looking to expand my extensive jacket collection this year. I needed a down jacket that was great all-around day-to-day use and also something for climbing, hiking, camping, snow, bitter nights, etc. I wanted to grab the patagonia down sweater, and decided to look at this jacket as well. Tried it on and instantly loved. The warmth of the down fill is perfect! I've been out in 30 degree weather with just a t-shirt on underneath and stayed warmer than ever. Amazing I must say!! Crazy to think I'd pay 1.5 times the price and get something similar. This jacket is bomber. And reversible? Even better, like 2 jackets in one! Buy it and be happy. period.,,

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I like this jacket a lot! There's lots of pockets and its always the right side out! This jacket has held up to this weak Michigan winter so far and i'm excited for this snow storm to see how it performs. I got the Large over a Medium so i could layer. This is where the only complaint I have about the jacket comes in. There is no draw string at the bottom so you can't cinch it up to close so some air gets in from bottom if you aren't layered properly and fill up the extra space. Another cool feature is that the hand pockets are separate from each other so the inner one can function as extra special storage. I like the smooth side better because I like chest pockets.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lightweight warmth This jacket kept me warm during a couple night stay in freezing temps along Skyline Drive in Shenandoah National Park. Great double sided feature, I prefer the baffled side vs. the smooth side. Smooth zippers and pockets. More down fill for your money than TNF. Excellent neck warmth when zipped all the way. The grey one is definitely grey and not a shiny silver and goes well with technical pants or jeans if you want to sport it in a less adventurous environment. So comfy I want to wear it naked...and invent matching pants.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and lightweight! This jacket is perfect weight for what I want it to do. I got it as a backpacking coat for in Alaska's colder summers and have been testing it out around Ohio's winters - it's keeping me toasty! Very lightweight, squishes down to about the size of three tennis balls.,,,,I am a female but still ordered the men's small because I needed a shorter body cut than Moosejaw's female equivalent. The shoulders are a tiny bit boxy, but other than that it's a great fit for a woman!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Light and toasty Jacket is seriously warm, you can wear a t-shirt and this skiing and be OK (pants, hat and gloves and you're golden). Jacket is light to the point that I expect it to float. Chest pocket is handy for lighter items, heavier makes it sag like a rock in a sock. Wife keeps stealing my jacket, so I'm filling this out to earn points to get another one. Reversible is nice, though I don't pay attention and keep losing my car keys in it.
