Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Jacket Fits great, this replaced a Marmot SharpPoint soft shell after 5 years of use. This actually fits better than the $295 Marmot. It isn't quiet as warm though, which I'm totally fine with since i have other jackets for when its bellow freezing out. This is a great spring and fall jacket. Wore it Kayaking this past weekend and it kept me plenty warm and dry with a strong wind with temps in the mid 40's and constant splashes and drips from my paddle and spray off the lake. My only complaint is that i wish the pockets weren't mesh. They aren't good at keeping your hands or body warm if you have them unzipped.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome look and Fit!!! Received this jacket today and love the color and fit!! It was a little bit lighter weight than I had hoped but should be a great shell for cool temps and blocking out wind. I am 5'11/185lbs. and typically wear a Large but ordered the XL in this jacket due to recommendations from others and really like the athletic fit. It does have adjustable hem cords to get that "custom fit" I desire in my jackets. ,,Oh, and by the way, a HUGE thanks to Moosejaw for the $100 mystery gift!!!!!!!! I received a hoodie, patagonia performance shirt, and a Hurley vintage t-shirt. Moosejaw is first-class all the way!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Water Repeliant Hoody First off I would like to say that too me this feels more like a technical hoody than a softshell jacket. Don't get me wrong its a quality hoody, but I dont find it heavy enough to consider it a jacket for me. I love the design and the materials are good quality, as it repels water well. My two big problems with it is the hood is pretty large, I feel like a Sith Lord when I put it on and the sleeves are a tad long and its doesn't have adjustable wrist cuffs, so you can see how that is a problem.,,,,Overall I would definitely recommend it to my friends and it will be in my gear closet for years to come.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect This is great material, great colors, really good fit.,,I think its missing two things that might make it perfect:,,1. That little bit of fabric over the zipper so when you have it up the whole way it doenst irritate your neck.,,2. Velcro cuffs. The cuff size is pretty good and the arms very trim. With a little more room in the forearms and a velcro cuff you could layer a little more effectively.,,Even with those two items I am very happy with the jacket and would buy the exact same thing if it were to turn up missing (dont get any ideas!),,

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Better than what so see on everyone else! Weight is like a TNF apex jacket, maybe a bit more lite, but the jacket is cut much better. Material is soft and the lining fleece is super plush... just feels better too. Very fitted cut I'm 6' 1" 36" waist 46" chest and the XL is big enough to have some breathing room. And by the way big thumbs up to returns department. I ordered the large originally on Sunday. Got here on tuesday, sent it back, and had the XL by that Thursday. Super easy, no questions, no screwing around. Moosejaw flag in the pocket made my day too!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Easily worth $60.00 Pros:,,-5"6" small fits and looks good. Durable too.,,-DWR works well, Texas downpoor left me feeling like I was slightly sweaty, dried of quick.,,,,Cons:,,-Hood seems a little big for my small head.,,-Pockets have mesh lining so will Not keep your hands warm on a cold windy day. Wear gloves.,,-Inside pockets are actually on top of the outside pockets and feels awkward if holding something on the inside and you have your hands in the outside pockets.,,,,Bottom line: Buy it at this price the cons are nothing major.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It fits like a nice chunk of Swiss cheese. Once upon hiking up Peak Jengish Chokusu I REALLY had a taste for cheese. This was no ordinary taste for cheese. This was a taste of Swiss that I was needing. I knew that this was not going to be an easy task. Eating cheese so high. Then I remembered, I had carefully wrapped a beautiful chunk of my favorite swiss cheese and carefully placed it in my Kenny Friedman jacket pocket. Once I put my hand on that cheese, I knew that Peak was going to be mine. Now, if I'd only had packed some crackers and wine.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Totally solid jacket, gotta buy it if you're in the market Received this jacket as a gift after pointing it out to my mother in a catalog. I go to school in Rochester, NY where it gets wicked cold in the winter and I still use it as my primary jacket to keep me warm. It has great flexibility also and is totally awesome to ski in if you're on the mountain during a warm day. Climbed and skied Tuckerman's Ravine in it too with nothing more than a capilene layer underneath. If you're looking for a solid long lasting and warm softshell don't pass this guy up.
