"Take them for a run before you judge them."
The Mizuno Wave Rider is a solid running shoe, but the unique design and technology might be a little off-putting to fans of shoes based on traditional cushioning systems. Just putting on the Rider doesn't give an adequate representation of the shoe, and it really begs to be taken for a run in order to get an idea as to what it feels like. As an everyday shoe, I've usually found Mizuno's to be uncomfortable and lacking, but as a purely technical running shoe they really do shine. Unfortunately the Rider is a little to supportive to really fit completely into the neutral category (which it's categorized as) and due to my supination problem I end up really pounding on the outside of my right foot. A solid shoe with some great features, but watch out if you need a completely neutral shoe.
